I visited this store a few weeks ago to return to a phone to AT&T. Naturally, I showed up with the box unpackaged, label not applied, and inadequate filling for the package. Patricia and Prayze took the time to be extremely helpful and accommodating to me. They offered me filling for the package, tape for the box, and even reminded me to take a picture of the label in case something unfavorable were to happen. I got to the store 5 minutes after they closed and they opened the doors for me and opened their registers for me!! They were extremely nice and kind, because of them I was able to send a care package to a soldier over seas, thank you again!!! read more

Got there at 6:20 just to buy a box and this a**hole shuts the door on me and tells me hes closed. I told him his sign says it closes at 6:30 and he said "im closed" and shuts the door in my face. Call me a rookie but I went in here to mail a package thinking it would be easy. First of all no customer service whatsoever. Also they pretty much guess how much to charge you on shipping a package. After they charge you for the shipping cost he pretty much pulled the number out of his you know what to charge me for "labor" quote unquote. They had to bubble wrap a couple of picture frames to put in a box and charged me $30 on top of the already $60 for shipping. Complete rip off save yourself the time and go to the post office!!!! Plus the dudes are pretty rude and are basically trying to sell you on why they're ripping you off. Lol! I'm ashamed I gave them my money but I really needed to get this package out. read more

Pretty sure I dealt with the owner. I wish I would have yelped every time I ever came in to this place over the years, it would have been a consistent 1 star only because I have to choose a star. So I have a UPS Label that I need to print out. I access it from my account, from my iPhone... Reminder....I am at a UPS store, and I need to print out a UPS label and mail a UPS package and He wants to charge me $3 to EMAIL the label to him and then print it out.... what? meaning he has no Air Drop capable printer. OK $1 charge maybe for the paper and ink, and pressing a few keys on a computer, oh and walking to the printer, etc... but $3 LOLOLOLOL Ridiculous. The place was empty.... I can see why. read more

Do not go here! Just don't do it, save yourself the frustration because the person who works here is beyond rude, socially inept, technologically inept, and this place should be shut down. This person must hate life and everyone him. I was there returning Uverse equipment and he told me that it was a 10 minute process, and he was going to skip me and help the people behind me, then he proceeded to complain about all the work he had to do. All I know is that none of that sounded like a me problem at all. I left the store as I did not want to interact with him anymore and I just got a bad vibe. We've had a mailbox at this UPS store for 3 years. Compared to using USPS, the convenience of having a safe location to receive our mail and packages is a great relief and means no stolen packages from our front door or non-delivered mail. On the front desk, Patricia is a wonderful customer service agent and the overall go-to-gal for shipping questions. She has a very warm personality and is very patient. Customers love her! After a few hiccups when they first bought the business, the new owners have learned the ropes and made a number of improvements in the look and feel of the store. Yikes. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I've been to plenty of UPS stores all over the county and I have to say they're generally helpful, if not slightly disgruntled. But THIS guy - HE IS AWFUL. I've gone in there a number of times, simply because it's next door to my gym, and he's rude and unhelpful EVERY SINGLE TIME. Obviously it's a terrible aggravation for him to actually do his job and help someone. I always dread going in there and seeing his scowling face, but it's convenient, so I force myself to go in. Now I think I'd rather drive the extra miles so I don't have to deal with him anymore. Please get rid of this guy!!! read more

Don't go here. The owner is an ass. I paid for a notery and needed a witness. I needed to get the document shipped that day. He refused to allow his employee, who was standing next to us watching and interjecing, to sign as the witness. He insisted we did not need a witness. My email made it very clear I needed the notery and another witness. Needless to say the documents did not get out in time. This place is garbage. Im sure most people go there out of convenience. If you can avoid it please do. read more

We have had a postal box here for 10-12 years, and we do a lot of shipping here too. The service has always been fantastic and we have never had any problems in all that time. I am not terribly fond of the post office. I avoid going there as much as possible. However I do need to use the mail, whether I want to or not. I have found that using the UPS store works best for me. First of all when I walk in the door there is a very nice man with a big smile asking me how he can help truthfully, at almost 75 years old I know I'm not the most easy person to work with. Sometimes I actually don't know what I need until I get there. The gentleman that works there is always very patient with me. He is very efficient and explains everything to me in a way that I can understand it. For me it takes away the stress of having to Mail anything and it's worth it to spend a little bit more money not to have to stand in line at the post office! read more

Great service at this UPS store! I was dropping off a package to ship out, but ran out of tape at my home to seal up the package. The kind man at the front desk thoroughly taped it up without hesitation and free of charge. Thankfully it wasn't too busy so I had a moment to talk to the new owner. I appreciate this UPS store, but this one female employee was rude customer service. My sending box was not a small package and I thought it needed to be taped with couple times because one tape could break up the seal, so I asked her politely to tape it more, but instead she taped just once and said, "this is good, you are good". I asked her to tape little more, but she was grumpy or something and rejected my first offer. After that, I asked her that I would tape it by myself, but she said, "I'll do it later, don't worry" with grumpy attitude. She eventually taped it couple times after that but I don't know why she gave me the kind of bad attitude. This ups always gives me a tape service, and I appreciate the store. I know I should have taped it by myself at home but it's the one of their services giving so this time I felt little bit irritated by her attitude and act. Thus, there needs to be a training for employees to provide better customer service for customers. read more

Needed to have a return label printed for a UPS-delivered package, had to send the email to the store for them to print it, for which was charged $10, outrageous. Just called to ask about their notary services, was informed they only do notarization in the mornings. Two strikes and you're out as far as I'm concerned, will gladly go out of my way to obtain services elsewhere from now on. read more

These are compassionate people who will bend over backwards for you while at the same time giving you accurate information about your packages, notary services, and other specialized services like fingerprints and other things that are above my pay grade. When I first moved to San Marcos, they were an anchor for me. When I had notary needs with legal documents, they were there with clarity...easily, carefully, and quickly. I've observed the many people who rely on them for all sorts of things. Honestly, I love these folks. And I depend on them. It's not their first rodeo and that helps me so much! read more

I rushed home from work, picked up the kids, rushed to the store and got there 6 minutes before it said it closes (6pm)--but the door was locked and the worker indicated that he wouldn't let me in. The service today was terrible. The driver was to lazy to come up the hill to our house to get a signature for the package. Instead he tried shoving it in the mailbox but saw that he needed a key for that, so he just marked the delivery as no access and drove away. I saw the whole thing from my lawn chair and it was just the worst. Then I called to go pick it up but they wanted me to drive all the way to San Marcos at 7pm like I don't have a job to get to. Seriously, very rude customer service as well. When this lady called to tell me to at 7pm she said her driver couldn't get access because of construction work going on and that's why he put no access, but there was no construction work going on. Some people need to learn how to do their job properly. It's not our fault they don't want to go the extra mile and get off their truck to open a gate and drive to the house itself. Next time we're going with FedEx. read more

Customer service skills of a 12 year old. Dropped of a single package with preexisting label and asked them to cover preexisting labels on package with a blank white label. Proceeded to tell me repeatedly and rudely to do it myself. Fedex does this simple request happily plus charges me less for shipping my packages. Thanks for the turn off. read more

Walked in at 6:05 (mind you their hours say they close at 6:30) and Hamid gave me such a hard time about how he is trying to close and he has to have his register closed by 6:15, that's he's been working from 8:30-6:30-he needs to go and "people" just keep coming in... I reminded him of his hours & if it's such an issue he should update his hours on the website and that I can happily take my business elsewhere. I wish there were negative stars ~ Quite possibly the worse customer service I have ever encountered. I was sending a UPS overnight letter pkg for my employer that was of substantial value - In order to collect on the insurance for the face value of the item, UPS required a Shipment Receipt that was to be signed by the person at UPS receiving the item for shipment. This document was downloaded from the UPS website and brought in with the envelope for shipping. The gentleman at the counter absolutely refused to sign the document. I told him that UPS required it and it was downloaded from their website and he still refused to sign it. He was extremely rude and directed me to the main UPS facility on Bingham Dr. I had less than 10 minutes to get to the facility ,in rush hour traffic , in order to get the item shipped overnight. When I was relaying this information to a co-worker she also had a terrible experience there as well not that long ago. Needless to say - I will never set foot in the place again. read more
