This is a great small little Post Office. I usually choose to do my shipping and stamp needs here verses the large Fallbrook Post Office (always problems at that location with horrible customer service). Wonderful hard working staff I've encountered here are; Carlos, Armen and Blanca. Very well trained and know how to serve their customers. There are several cards for all occasions to purchase. Cute seasonal packaging envelopes and mailers to purchase. If they could install a bench outside to sit on while the hours of lunch breaks are taken, that would help. Also having a bench inside to wait on while the line can grow at times. Having those would help customers with disabilities. Could use a small facelift inside with fresh paint, music and maybe screens to display USPS information like at the larger branches. I've never seen the two cats outside here so hoping they got adopted. Thanks for all the hard work from the staff, it's a hard job. We are grateful for you! read more

Overall, their service is decent. We would prefer that packages be delivered at our house instead of over 100 yards away at our always-open gate. Not a huge deal but definitely an inconvenience since I'm handicapped. What really disturbs me, and why I'm writing this review, is very poor COVID-19 policy enforcement. Many times, when I've gone into the entry area where PO boxes are located, there have been people not wearing masks. I'm high risk and quite unhappy about this. There is no mask and distancing policy guidelines posted on the entry door or in plain sight. There is a small sign next to inner door, but that is not visible upon entering. In my opinion, there should be a large sign posted on the entry door clearly stating that no one may enter without wearing a facemask and must respect social distancing guidelines. It's laxness like this that's gotten us into this mess in the first place. Make it right, please! read more

I have to say how much I dislike giving negative reviews. My intent when having to give a negative review is to hope when the business reads that one negative review they will find a way to address the issue. My visit to this location was 5-20-15 at 1:31pm. Long story short, I had gone out of the way to visit this post office because of the wonderful customer service that I most of the time never receive at the other locations that are convenient. I have two small packages to mail. My wait in line was short less, than 5 minutes. While one postmaster was helping a customer another walked up to the counter and took the next person in line, me. I wont say, help or assisted me. Let's just say she has no 'friendly' or 'basic' customer service. You had a bad day? Don't share or take it out on me. So, there is no difference in customer service than any of the convenient locations. No more special trips here. So why the 5 starts? Because the many times I've brought my business here and encountered nothing but the best customer service, I do not want people to think that all the employees here have the same attitude as the one who took me at the counter. I couldn't give this guy 0 This happened today. Not the first time he done this . Post carries is rude he damaged my trailer and 3rd time he ran over my safety cones last time he ripped it and was left in the middle of the street. Today he drove almost up my ramp I didn't say anything I figured he would back up at least but nope he did a little then proceeded to run my cones again. I asked him can you please not run my cones last time I had to replace it. And I had to go around the front of the vehicle as he went so close I couldn't get in. After I asked him he got an aggressive attitude and told me no to park here to park across the street. I'm contracted to do many repairs in these units. As he left his bumper made damage to my trailer ramp. I tried calling the post office but the answering service was almost impossible. I will try again. That's why he said got a complain call! Yelling at me. He zoomed on by and drives like he is in the freeway. You can't see much but if you look at pictures he drove all the way to mail box so his bumper emended out in my drop down ramp. There was no need for that could have easily walked a few steps or even backed us a foot more to avoid tuning over my safety cones. He needs to learn respect and not damage others personal belongings. read more

Nice employees very helpful but pretty tiny location if you're not paying attention you will miss it. I think that this office probably has the nicest and most helpful employees. They never seem stress or scattered brain but at the same time this location isn't that busy. So if you don't want to wait in long lines then this is the post office for you. read more

Don't ever ship anything here if you want to receive your stuff. They take boxes without tracking and keep whatever they want. We called looking for a package the guy very rudely said call back in 20 mins. The Asian a previous lady posted about throws our packages over the gate whether it says fragile or not. We've received multiple broken items. Just don't even bother. Go to Oceanside P.O. and your things won't be lost or broken. The worst part is there's no way to get these a**holes fired because it's government. read more

Worst service. Granddaughter's give was to be delivered 5/3/21 by priorit mail $15.50. From California to West Virginia. Went to Guam, Hawaii and still not received as of 5/12/21. Manger was so rude. Never said sorry just "unfortunately it was placed on a wrong shipment" If you want to go online you can see if you are eligible for refund". This was the second time this has happened from this Post Office. Staff is always nice but this is the second time the same Manger did nothing. Obviously he has no public or business training. A 44 minute wait by phone since the online system is not working. I will be using alternate shipping from now on. read more

Lost my package, for the second time now. First time my package was "delivered" it was to the wrong house. They figured it out and got it to my house a few days later- all forgiven. Second time now, and it's been nearly two weeks with nothing. The supervisor had said it was delivered in my vicinity but I haven't seen a thing. So where the heck are they going? It sucks when I have to stop all of my online shopping because I cannot trust the local postal service. Nice small town post office with a great friendly staff..... well 2 out of 3 anyhow :D Of course they have shortened hours and less days open but that makes sense for a small office. Those same people who complain about the post office hours and days the office is open will be the first to complain when the rates go up .08 cents in order to keep the low traffic offices open on the weekends. And for those who think that the Postal staff should stand by the front door demanding that everyone entering submit to the New World Order cabal's mask demands I suggest that you get yourself a John Travolta " The Boy in the Plastic Bubble" (1976) suit and stop trying to get others to be responsible for your health issues.... and while you're at it get off your phone/ computer, climb Mt Monserate now and again, drink a quart of filtered water ( .25 cents a gallon at the penguin machine outside of Major Market, no plastic taste , smell, or residue) in one shot first thing in the morning and don't eat anything till after you have urinated, eat one less meal a day, and get some Vit D from the sun , not from pills. We moved to Bonsall in October 2016 and we live walking distance to the Post office. The mail man delivers some of our mail to the community where we live, some of our tax documents didn't make it, they were "lost" or delivered to neighbors mail boxes. In addition, if we are expecting a small package, the mail main, claims our address doesn't exist and leaves it back at the post office, without leaving us a note, letting us know, we have package waiting. We have important tax mail that was lost and probably delivered at the wrong house. Scary. We had a package from Amazon, he took it back to the post office and states address doesn't exsist!!! When we checked the tracking two weeks later, it stated " incomplete address" that's the note the driver left or "address doesn't exist". But he leave the rest of our bills in our mail box, which means, the address does exist! The driver is lazy to drive past the mail boxes and get to our street, where there is a street sign, he just needs to leave the package on our door step. My husband and I had four separate conversations with the post master at 5521 Mission Rd. Bonsall, CA. The service is despicable and unacceptable. read more

I purposely come to this post office whenever I can simply because it is an enjoyable experience and one of the few rich customer service establishments left.
