I originally visited the Poughkeepsie store for an Amazon return. A kid wearing a literal clown wig told me that I had to rent a computer for $3 and print the label for 50 cents. I left with the package never making the return. Then I came down to Wappingers. The guy here went above and beyond to help me email the label and print it. He was sharp, helpful, and courteous. read more

I've been coming to this UPS for the past year and never had an issue. Staff is all friendly and courteous, especially the nice old lady with the resident cat. They follow COVID protocol, wear masks, and don't allow anyone inside so all transactions happen at the windows. read more

Keep missing the delivery of my package; upon tracking it online; it says it's going back to the store on marshall road. the phone number listed on the website and the tracking website is not correct. I found another listed number and there was voicemail to leave a message, no identification of what I called. the online rep was very helpful; there is no way to contact the ups store on marshall road to tell them to hold the package; I will pick up since it's going to be delivered at 3PM (per rep) and I'm at work. what a run around not to be able to get my package since it requires a signature. rididculous. read more

$1.99 per page, to send a fax? Inconceivable! The other nearby UPS store charges $1.29. At least the guy behind the counter was nice and warned me before he started the process. For some reason one of my most hated tasks is to ship something. Whether it comes to returning an item or sending something to friends/family I can't stand having to box an item and send it out. This morning, after putting off shipping something to a friend for a few days, I decided to stop by the UPS store. I came with the item, an address and nothing more. The person working there was extremely helpful and laid out all of my options and prices very clearly. She offered to wrap everything and put it in the box herself to save me some time as well. Fantastic service made the process quite easy and simple. This location is also a storage center for anyone interested. Parking lot is quite small but I doubt they draw large enough crowds at one time to make this a concern (except for holidays of course). Next time I need to ship something maybe I won't be as cranky about it knowing this place will handle it with ease read more

I went here to send a package 35 lbs to a prison. The young man checking my out made everything seem like he was really trying to help. Until it was time to check out he started over charging me I saw the register price change from 30-60$ in a matter of pressing a few buttons. I asked for ground not overnight and he tried to "get me down" to a lower fee. Instead of the standard rates I never paid over $50 to send a package ground and never will. Prejudice at its finest won't be back letting others know BEWARE!!! read more

I find this UPS store ALWAYS very helpful and staff very friendly. I can always rely on this UPS store to get all my packages to the locations I need sent packages on time and if I'm in a time crunch and don't have the time to wait at the long lines at the post office, this UPS store is always my best resort to send out all my packages. There has also been many times that I walked in with regular mail and they mailed it for me, along with helping me with boxes when I need them. I have never had any issues with any of the staff and I find it very pleasant to go to this location. So as I've seen other reviews making comments regarding th cat, I find that the cat is somewhat friendly, and I've too had issues too with the cat, swatting at me and once tried to bite me. So my solution, is to just keep my distance to the cat. I guess he feels its his territory and he is very possessive of that. I'm just there to send packages, not be friends with a cat. I just cannot find anything wrong with this store and I;'ve been using this location since it has opened, and I believe it is going on 12+ years now, and never had an issue. I shipped a very large painting (61" x 42") using this UPS location. The staff were very pleasant and assured me that the painting would be taken care of and wrapped properly. The painting was sent out this past Tuesday and scheduled to arrive in Texas on Monday 2/3. To my surprise, it arrived today (Friday) in tact. The Recipient was so impressed by the way it was packed and the early delivery. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who is looking to ship something so large. The cost was well worth it for something that was valuable and needed the extra TLC. read more

On December 8th we brought a return to the UPS store that contained a phone that was to be returned to AT&T. We noticed at our last bill in January from AT & T that we were still being charged for the phone. After speaking to the service rep at AT&T we were told they never received the phone. I tracked the package and it stated that the phone never left the store. I call the store and they insisted it did and even if the tracking from the postal service said they never received it that they did. They told me it could take more than 1 month to resolve or up to 6 months. Bottom line I am paying on a phone they lost and have all the documentation. I just want my 569.00 plus whatever AT&T is charged me paid for. I should not have to wait. I asked for the owners number and they refused to give it to me. Today I received a call and they continue to not take blame and say it is a post office problem. read more

If you're not in a hurry, and don't mind being tended to by a bunch of housewives who don't know the difference between customer service and gossiping about cats and children, by all means take your business to the UPS Store at 4 Marshall Road in Wappingers Falls. But be careful about arbitrary changes in prices and "scheduled" delivery dates that have no relation to reality. Don't let them charge you extra for express service that takes just as long. After all the delay, bad service and extra expense, I'm sticking with the US Post Office. read more
