I've given up on these post offices. My main concern is the false delivery notifications they…read moreprovide to me. I'll get a notification saying "package delivered in/at mailbox" but nothing. It's frustrating because projects are a big part of my job and I can't plan if I don't know when parts are coming in accurately. After these alerts, I'll find my mailbox full a few days later with like a month worth of letters (not my packages). I've actually missed bills for this reason. (EZ-pass, stuff of that nature). The worst is when they lied and said they couldn't deliver because they didn't have a gate code. There's literally no gate where I live, nor anywhere nearby. I feel like their staff is just unethical, lazy, and has horrible organization. I'm surprised they don't steal mail. Not that anyone reads these, but tsk tsk tsk. Semi-related, but a friend of mine saw one of their drivers piss in a bottle outside the truck before emptying out a mailbox. What if a child saw that? How naughty.

The most I can say about this post office is it's immaculately clean and the location is…read moreconvenient. Staffing levels here seem to be sufficient. There are 2 registers, which are usually both open when it gets busy. However, during the afternoon, it's not uncommon to see lines out the door. The main lobby has 2 recyclable bins with locked lids for all the junk mail box holders receive. However, every time I go here, the locked lids are open. This is a serious threat for identity theft for anyone disposing of any junk mail related to credit or identity. The staff are hit-or-miss here. Some employees are friendly, some are miserable but make an attempt, and some have foul attitude problems. Because it's a smaller post office, the mail seems to take a while to arrive here.

This is a GREAT Post Office! I know people are annoyed because they offer passport service. People…read morewant more clerks on duty, but typically people want services and they don't want to pay for them. The postal clerks themselves are very agreeable, knowledgeable, and efficient. I remember being annoyed during the holidays when one of the clerks was holding up the line by double-checking the addresses on packages to see that the address actually existed and that the Zip Code was correct. Then when it was my turn, discovered that MY Zip Code was wrong! OMG! How great of him to do that! We tend to take these public servants for granted as they do their tedious, repetitive, very stressful job calmly and professionally. I really don't need chatty friendliness from my postal clerk as it holds up the line. What I want is professionalism, and that's what we get in Monroe. If you don't think so, compare Monroe postal workers to those in China or France (for rudeness) or eastern Europe and other places where nothing gets done without a bribe. Of course we want more clerks on duty. Typically, we want everything NOW NOW NOW! But that is hardly the fault of the postal worker at the counter. The facility is clean and efficient, and the workers themselves are professional and friendly in a professional way. God bless our government worker. Private sector airlines should run as well as our Post Office in Monroe! One more thing: Not every Post Office is open 7 days a week. The Monroe office is. What's not to like??!!

Went here on Wednesday July 23rd 2025 with my dad to validate our change of address forms that we…read moresubmitted online. It prompts you and tells you if one needs to go to the post office to confirm your identity. Got there, parked, had to wait in line for a bit. Went up to the desk and showed the printed paper with the validation on it for the address change. We showed both our ids and then the change of address was complete. Easy transaction, and was a pleasure to deal with.
