Stopped by there today to ship a softball bat to my daughter. When I approached the counter the attendant asked what was in the package. I then told him it was a softball bat.... I guess that wasn't good enough and he then asked to open the package to verify. His basis was that it is against federal law to ship a firearm, something I am very aware of. He didn't ask any other questions, just preceded to open my package. This may be policy but it is extremely off-putting. I stopped him and asked for my package back. Who knows what they do with the packages once they are dropped off. Taking my business elsewhere. Would recommend anyone who doesn't want their packages opened not to do business with them. Oh how I LOVE catching people in the service industry doing an awesome job and providing great customer service. I had that experience today at this UPS with an important print order. Shout out to Shelby for doing a great job of making my short notice, 1000 color copy order just perfect. Even cared to ask how I'd like to take the copies out so as not to mess up the collated stack. The absolute worst. For over 6 months, I've been going back and forth about how 3 packages that were shipped from their store, with their labels, arrived damaged. I documented and took photos of everything. I called UPS; UPS told me that I need to contact them directly. I did; I was told that someone from UPS would be stopping by to inspect the packages. They never did. They then told me they would just send a check to reimburse the packages. They never did. I called again; they said they re-mauled a check. They never did. Very nice lip service; no action on anything... except I have 3 boxes of broken stuff. Unfortunately, it's Williston, ND and there is no other amicable solution. I'd trust USPS way more than this place if you want your stuff to arrive safe. read more

June 21st a package was mailed to us in TX. My husband forgot his CPAP. It cost about $225 with ins and they packaged it. When we got it it was damaged and would not work. My husband went 63 days without his cpap and they still have not refunded us or paid the ins claim that we paid for. It's now October and still waiting. Not a happy camper. read more

I had a drone that I already had a return shipping label for and only needed a cardboard box to put a suitcase size drone case in. When I called them they said it would cost $50-$70 for a cardboard box because the "boxes are expensive". I dunno if there was an idiot who answered the phone or if they were trying to rip me off, but I told them they must be high and hung up the phone. I had to do the exact same thing previously at a Butte MT location that cost me only a small fraction for the same request. This was just ridiculous.! read more

This place is new to the williston area. The people who work there (I think they are all family members) are extremely nice. I've only been in to get documents notarized and use the fax, but the staff was very nice when I was there. I truly think they believe in their business and value their customers. two thumbs up! read more

The service inside is fantastic. The one north of town also fantastic. The people overall.. fantastic! But this whole review probably lies on one persons horrendous work ethic. I am not sure of the process, but maybe ups needs to review their hiring process for delivery drivers. I could not possibly imagine any other reason for a delivery driver to leave my packages on the wrong floor, wrong door, or outside my apartment complex other than he/she is completely illiterate or has the work ethic of a Chinese red panda. Packages have ended up in different places in my apartment complex other than my door. The location of my packages change more than an add kid with a remote. I held my tongue and let it go because in the end I got my package and I know all to well that someone can have a bad day.... maybe even 6 of them in a row but again in the end I got my goods. Not this time, not the one time that I had high dollar electronics sent to my house... it's no where to be found. How hard is it to match numbers to doors? Why would a driver leave a package for an apartment #302 at 106?! I can under stand leaving it at like a 102 or 202, hell I even walk to the wrong floor sometimes.... but a completely different number?! And it's not once, not twice, not three, nope not four, getting closer but not five, but six.... six different packages left in random locations. Thank god for all of the random placed packages, it gave me great training for Easter egg hunting this weekend! Without my computer I ordered that I was going to use for getting a lot of work done, Il have plenty of time to get further behind and look for other random things to do! So I should thank the delivery driver on my route for keeping me on my toes and changing it up on the regular... I hate coming home and just having my package where I expect it should be delivered. it's 900x's more fun to search the entire complex, and even more fun not to find it. So shout out to that delivery driver you have running near the 30th street east area for making the odds of my package being where it should around the same of getting struck by lightening twice then hit by a train while boating. Again, everyone else here are great people, besides the driver whom I wouldn't even trust to deliver a pizza, they are a great company and everywhere else they seem to do a great job and those other people are the only reason I don't put one star.... I made this account solely because of this delivery driver and the absolute nightmare he is putting me through with getting reimbursed and a new one sent.... which I think il just pick up from the store. read more

On Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at approximately 1pm, I brought several items to the Williston, ND UPS store to be packaged and shipped. Shelby assisted me. She told me it was $245 to pack and ship 2 boxes(approx. $87 for packing material and $80/box for shipping). I thought it was expensive, but decided to do it anyway. I wanted the items, my grandmother's things, to be safely shipped back to my parents. Shelby told me to leave the items with her and she packs them. I was uncomfortable, especially since all the items I left were not listed on the package slip she gave me, but thought that's just how they do it. The next morning, I tracked the packages. It said that a label had been printed, and something like the tracking info would be available once the packages arrived at the facility. I called and spoke to Shelby about the status of the package. She told me, "That's weird, I watched every package leave on the truck at 5pm yesterday. Give it another day for the tracking information to show up." This morning, Thursday, March 22, 2018, I checked again. The status was the same for both packages. I called the store and spoke with a man this time. He asked if it was the shipment with the glasses (glassware). I said yes. He said that it was still there and hadn't been packed yet. I asked why not and he said Shelby had been sick. I asked if I could pick up the items and get a refund. He said yes. I immediately went to get the items. While waiting in the lobby, I heard him speaking to someone, saying "Well, she's here now." When he came to the front he offered to upgrade shipping for free or just do the refund. I opted for the refund. I also pointed out to him that one item was damaged. A painted wooden plague, a folk art piece, had a gouge in it. He said he wasn't here when I dropped it off, so he didn't know about it. He did apologize for the items not getting sent out and said Shelby was sorry. I let him know that she flat out lied to me and I didn't appreciate it. I got my items, my refund and left. I know people cannot help getting sick. Getting sick is not the issue. I trusted the people at this UPS location to be reliable and honest. I did not find that to be the case. As such, I have lost confidence in the brand itself. I don't believe this is an isolated incident. A man came in the same day I was shipping my packages, trying to find out where his had gone. This company is the worst if you never want to be able to get mail again this is where to go. We are oilfield works and need a place to get mail while there and packages which you can't at the post office. But Work moved and I canceled box after to weeks fine with forfeitinn money paid and went home did a change of address and waited no mail you have to pay them to forward it it been 8 month a call to post master there store I got it stopped and then they started getting it again the post master says it's this store beware family owned with poor customer service read more

If you ever happen to find yourself in Williston, ND, you probably have bigger problems than finding a shipping location... However, I was on a deadline and had to get something back to NYC. I showed up right at closing time, expecting the normal "sorry, get lost" attitude, but was pleasantly surprised to encounter not just a fantastic employee, but she was the owner, a former teacher. It was clear that she cared for her customers and helped helpless me get everything done quickly to not miss the cut off time. We ended up talking for a few minutes as I was in town researching and she was pleasant and so nice to help me out. The package arrived exactly when she said it would and the price was less than I had anticipated. In a town where trailer park owners and grandmas price-gouge the shit out of migrant workers for a room in their basement for $2K a month in a heartless frenzy of greed, I could have easily been charged way more - but the owner and staff here aren't playing that game - and that's refreshing in Williston. Truly lovely people and a great array of services - this is the only place to pack/ship/etc in Williston. read more

I sent my husband in to mail a package for me and was SHOCKED when he came home with the receipt. $55 to mail a simple package?!?! They charged $6.67 for a 12"x12"x12" box! Plus another $12 for the packing peanuts. Wow. I guess if your package is an heirloom then it may be worth it but be prepared for sticker shock! read more
