Stopped by while in Fergus as it reminded me the hipster and delicious coffee bars I love so much in downtown Toronto. It definitely has the aesthetic and a cute little water bowl for my little fur baby to sip on while outside.
Upon stepping in, we got a dirty look for having my doggo in my arms (we brought him in only because we wanted to see the menu) - so much for a dog friendly spot.. we took Sumo back outside and I ordered. Two lattes for $11? Crazy, especially for not-downtown coffee.
Subbing a non dairy milk was even more pricey than Starbucks (who would've imagined that was possible)
The lattes took awhile to make even though I was the only one in the queue- lattes should not take longer than a couple minutes. Coming from someone who worked at the busiest coffee shop, iced lattes are literally the easiest drink. Pull the espresso, drop the ice and pour the milk - you don't even need to steam it. It should be speedy fast! It took 5-6 minutes just to get two iced lattes??
After she poured it, she just gave the two lattes and I had to ask to differentiate which one was soy and which one was regular... which I felt like should've been labelled or something, just for my bowels' sake.
I don't know dawg. The lattes were good, smooth and pleasant. The interior was pretty and the spot was spacious for working or studying.
I don't have much else to say. It wasn't bad but it wasn't "holy shit this is great" read more
