25 Lusk Came here for a medical dinner and was seriously impressed. The space was sleek and modern, perfect for a professional evening. Also, the service was top-tier from start to finish. I started with the: Grilled Eggplant and Sunchoke Bisque which had Local asparagus, candied fennel, shiso. Super good! Super creamy! Wish I had more. Then choose the Oakwood Roasted Salmon with Lobster-crushed Yukon Gold potatoes, spiced heirloom pepper broth as my entree. One of my favorite dishes of 2025 if we're being honest. Great food, flawless service, and a cool venue.

Had a wonderful time here for a private work dinner! It's like a hole in the wall with one entrance at the end of a dead alleyway. It's beautiful inside with great architecture, classy dining set up, and a great bar scene. The staff were super friendly and nice. We had a fixed three course menu! I got their lobster bisque and it was creamy, warm, filling, and had great flavors of parsnip! The short rib had juicy meat falling off the bone with a great medley of vegetables. Great vibes!

We went here for a for a company happy hour. We had the rooftop and it was a decent seating. The food is was mediocre and I liked their tacos and desserts the most. I also really enjoyed the passion fruit mocktail. I wouldn't recommend the yellow tail because the fish is not fresh

Since it was a lovely day in SF - blue skies and mild weather - my friends and I decided it was a prime opportunity to go to a rooftop bar. While there is no shortage of rooftop bars in SF, especially near the waterfront, we opted for Rooftop 25 (25 Lusk's rooftop bar) because we were looking for a sophisticated yet relaxed place to grab drinks. The beverage menu offers a range of cocktails, wine, and beer, and I ordered the spicy passionfruit margarita, which sounded refreshing and unique. I was not disappointed, as the margarita struck the perfect balance between sweet and spicy. We also ordered some apps to pair with our drinks: the sharp cheddar and jalapeño biscuits with honey butter and pepper jelly were tasty, and the grilled shrimp skewers were incredibly succulent (although a bit difficult to eat cleanly). The overall experience was good - while the rooftop views are better at other venues, the unpretentious ambiance and lush greenery provided a welcoming atmosphere to catch up with friends. The staff was friendly and attentive, and our food and drinks were served quickly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid rooftop bar.

I've been to many Michelin restaurants in the Bay Area (e.g., Michael Mina, Benu, Commis), but all of which were pretty underwhelming. Despite the fact that 25 Lusk has no stars, their food is very impressive. I'd venture to say they do their dishes better than the likes of Michelin-rated establishments. And, when taking 25 Lusks's prices into consideration, they're simply unbeatable. Every course was packed with intense flavor! My personal favorite was something that wasn't even listed on the menu: the truffle cheesecake. I'm not a big fan of truffle, but I appreciated the intensity of the truffle combined with the saltiness of the cheese. Overall, if you're looking to celebrate an occasion or just want to indulge in fine-dining for no reason at all, 25 Lusk is the place!

I like how you can come up without a walk in. They told me I can either choose a small two top or by the view. I choose the high chairs by the view. This spot you gotta get up and walk to the counter to order a drink or food. I left my tab open just in case I wanted to order more for the night. Important: They don't take Amex or Apple Pay so make sure your bring your visa or MasterCard. I'm questioning why I even got an Amex card now since there are many places that don't even take the card. The service and front, I believe "Chad" was his name, was friendly. I look forward to coming back with some more friends. The lobster roll looked appetizing. That's a must get for me next time. I enjoyed the spicy passion fruit! It was super delicious!

This place is open for outdoor dining, and they have a really nice balcony area with lots of space for people to sit at! They enforce mask wearing and social distancing here, with the waiters taking necessary precautions. It's one of the more stylish outdoor seating areas that I've seen in SF, and the view from the balcony area is great! It didn't take us that long to get seated during the times we went here. For the food we got the Ahi Tuna Tartare, the Margherita Pizza, and Oysters, which were all really delicious! The ingredients they use here are high quality, and the presentation of the dishes is really nice as well! The Tuna Tartare and Oysters seemed to be very fresh, while the Margherita Pizza was really flavorful. I also got one of their mojito drinks, which kind of like a slushie but still was a good drink to have! Overall, this is definitely a really nice place to come to eat at, both in terms of the food and the venue!

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in San Francisco. Chef Dolan is a master at his craft. The food is not only stunning, but delicious. Locally and fairly sourced, the quality of each dish is unbelievable and clearly made with love. We were drawn to the restaurant after seeing Chef Dolan battle Bobby Flay a few month back on TV. We were so pleased with our experience. Whether you're looking for more casual dining (rooftop), or a more fine dining experience (the downstairs restaurant) Lusk will not disappoint. Cocktails are nothing short of Wow, the wine selection is on point and chosen to pair well with seasonal dishes. The staff is also great and always efficient, happy and polite, they truly care about your experience. They are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. The service is unmatched, they made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. We are so happy that the indoor dining has opened back up, the ambiance inside is ideal for those who want a romantic night out, but also has plenty of room for larger groups to unwind and enjoy great food. Recommend dishes: The braised beef short rib is absolutely amazing, it melted in our mouths. The braising liquid is nothing short of magic. The cauliflower creme brûlée; you just have to try it. The vanilla and lime posset... order it, there are no words. We can't wait to return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend 25 Lusk. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant.

Back and better than ever. I used to come all the time before it closed and I missed it a lot. Came back toight with friends and it was a different menu, but even better than before. Sharing plates so you get to try a lot. Everything was unique and delicious. Cauliflower creme brulee was a stand out. Venison was like an amazing steak. Every bite was super flavorfull and service was warm and friendly. Most definitely will be back again soon.

Great atmosphere and a very friendly and hard working staff. A bit harder to find but that is one of the charms of this restaurant. Food is high end and clientele tend to look business casual inside. The Good: presentation and customer service here is great. The filet mignon was cooked rare and to perfection. Roasted vegetables were on point. Alcohol selection was good. Restaurant is classy and has a historic feel. It's a repurposed space. The bad: fish was overcooked, the rice in the risotto was undercooked.

French connection $16 - 2 stars. My partner said this tastes like Christmas cake, which he doesn't like! Mon dinner 2019-11-04

Is this a rooftop view and do they take reservations for larger parties?

Does 25 Lusk still have a happy hou?

We will start offering Happy Hour Tuesday June 20th 2023 on Rooftop 25!

Do you still have the Game of Thrones menu?

No that ended last month.

Is the patio a good place to bring a group of friends for a birthday lunch?

Roof top is casual place where it's open with bench and table seating. You order & pay it at the counter. There's a small bar area but not sure if they have full bar menu.

Am I allowed to bring a small, friendly dog on the outdoor patio if I hold it?

As we serve food on the roof only service animals with proper papers are allowed unfortunately.

Will the GOT theme be there permanently or will you guys be taking it down soon? My son prom is in SF and wanted to take a pic on the throne before heading to his prom. Would that be possible?

The Taste of Thrones pop-up concludes on Saturday 5/25/19. You are most welcome to come this week!

Will the restaurant still be decorated as got this weekend?

Yes through Monday!

Can I bring my 9 month old daughter? Really want to take a pic of her on the throne and taste the food ofcourse ☺️

Of course!!

Is 25 lusk shut? I came yesterday, google/yelp said its open but it was shut when I went.

Why time did you go? Their hours are 5-10PM

For 25Lusk, is this a good lunch spot? It looks dark in the photo's. I need a good client lunch spot that's within walking distance to the ball park.…

Just opened a Rooftop expansion that’s great for lunch! OPENS DAILY AT 11:30am!

The concept of battle of the decades is great too! Each hour is a different decade of music, starting with the 60's. I spent a few hours dancing from 60's-80's music until about 8pm (perfect for an old millennial like me) until the place filled up. Totally great night at Monroe. First of all, you could've understood the situation we were put in because we were not checked up on at all?! He was trying to make it a scene telling my group about all 3 lines. When I say scene I mean him being so aggressive and making it seem like I was trying to fight when I was just trying to talk about the situation we were in. everybody behind me DID NOT KNOW the line was also not the right line, so they all sneaked over to the other line and it was understandable, but like they just let them in?? You guys could've organized the line a lot better too?? I never had such a bad interaction with a bouncer before but you guys need to get that man checked. He was so disrespectful and rude. He started saying randomly things like "you can record and put me on tiktok or whatever i don't care"?? I don't know what the heck he's on, but obviously not his first rodeo having this type of interaction with the people in line. Obviously he isn't capable of handling a club correctly. The building was a printing press back in the day, so it's a bit of a maze but that's part of the charm. I've discovered some amazing local businesses. As for the craft fairs, respect jewelry, candles, cutting boards, and even a few food vendors. The building was built in 1926 as a printing plant for the San Francisco Examiner. It is a nice mixed use building like a nice cozy maze to explore the nice layout and architecture of the old print shop. So upstairs about 2 floors and vendors are scattered so it's like a hunt for them, almost like a needle in haystack. Lol Well it's not that hard as you won't miss anyone. Too floor that where you will satisfy your sweet tooth . Yummy. The vendors that were there were a nice mix from tea, cheese, spices, India coffee , Turkish spreads, ice cream, giant cookies, healthy drinks, spreads, and I am sure you will find something you will enjoy. I don't normally buy stuff, but the honey , red beet, 2004 sweet land Bingdao $95 brick tea that is aged 21 years that can make 175 tea servings for $95, Il Fiorello basalmic vinegar was thick and smooth great texture and syrupy taste very captivating and Taste of Levant tahini and their chocolate jar of molasses was excellent and I had to buy them. Yummy in my tummy! Not sure if same vendors will be there again, so catch them the at your farmers market, festivals or next Eats event!
