I went there yesterday with my friend to get my ears pierced and while the guy there was super friendly... he charged me 87 dollars just to get my ears pierced. Now my friend has a lip piercing that only cost her about 60 bucks so why was my ears 87? Maybe it was because of the jewelry I got but I didn't get to choose it and matter of fact he charged me the 87 before I even got to think about choosing it. Again, the guy was super sweet but no way in hell should I have paid 87 dollars to get my ears pierced...I recommend going to Claire's instead. read more

Came here on the recommendation of a friend. They were having Friday the 13th piercing specials, so why not. I wanted my tragus and cartilage done. The dude (can't remember his name. he's the one on the commercials, the one with the long dark hair, and beard. you know, the sleezy looking one. yeah, him), came out and asked me twice what i wanted. I'm pretty sure he was high af. I'm positive of it. His reaction time was slightly delayed, tell tale symptom of being stoned... But, I didn't listen to that little voice and let him pierce me anyway. The shop seemed clean enough. Went to the little back room, and we small talked for a little while. I should've been watching him, but I wasn't. I wanted to put myself at ease by playing an game on my phone as he prepped. He did my cartilage first. I wanted the placement to be less near the ridge of my ear and more near the center. He drew a dot and showed me. We went back and forth a little bit, but I just decided to trust the man. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I heard a loud snap. This guy used a piercing gun...on my cartilage!!! I was shocked. Any professional shop knows piercing guns are sins and to always use needles to avoid excess trauma. I looked in the mirror and he didn't even pierce it on the dot at all! I asked for a refund on the tragus because i did not want it to be done with a gun, nor did I want it misplaced. He said I couldn't get a refund, but assured me that he would use a needle...and he did. But the problem was, the jewelry. It did not come from a sterile package. He pulled it out of one of those bulk earring displays. I just couldn't win that night. I left with blood dripping down my ear from the tragus. I decided to get my belly button pierced about a week ago. Let's just say the past week was very painful. For one the jewelry itself was too short, then he pierced too much tissue so it's very thick. Leading to the jewelry digging in my skin and constantly having to push it up causing irritation. I went in yesterday to see if I could get a longer jewelry he wasn't concerned. He mostly just said it's swollen put ice on it and nothing much he could do. I went to 7th Street and they completely saw the issue. They suggested I take it out and try again with them. Do not ever go to this tattoo studio. I went to have a daith piercing done. The shop was clean enough when I walked in and Jesus (long haired piercer) was nice, but he smelled strongly of alcohol. Against my better judgement, I went ahead and got the piercing because how can you mess up a daith??? You can....he literally only pierced the skin in my ear and he continued through my ear and pierced above the daith too. It bled forever but he didn't see an issue with the piercing. I sent them a message demanding a refund, but I haven't heard back. I took the piercing out immediately and will take my business elsewhere when it finally heals. This is the worst tattoo studio experience I have ever had and they are way overpriced. Someone needs to report this shop to the health department before someone has major issues. Honestly I didn't have a good experience at all. I got my nose pierced here, and they didn't pierce me with a curved piercing so it constantly came out when I tried to clean it. I called them about a week later to ask if they could possibly switch it out with a curved piercing, and instead of trying to work things out, they were incredibly rude. Instead of focusing on the fact that my piercing wouldn't stay in, he kept telling me that if I kept cleaning it with a q-tip, I was gonna get a staph infection, and that I should've known that because it was in the aftercare instructions (it wasn't). Long story short, my piercing is no longer in my nose because it fell out about 2 1/2 weeks later and closed. I will never come back here..what a waste of money! read more

I went in to get a daith piercing and came out with a forward helix. Before piercing me, Jesus made me aware that I didn't have much room in that area but failed to mention that I would be leaving with a completely different piercing than I had requested. I would have been fine if he would have told me that it probably wasn't possible to get a daith due to the specific anatomy of my ear but instead he went ahead and pierced it onto the larger part above the daith area. Now the bottom bar of my piercing comes out onto the outer portion of my ear instead of the inner part near the canal. Upon seeing another review for vault studio where a girl also got a "daith" positioned in the same place mine is except extremely shallow, I have considered myself lucky. DO NOT get your piercings here. After calling back to ask about why my piercing looks so different from an actual daith, Jesus told me about how everyone's ears are shaped differently and any piercing in the general area can be considered a daith. Although, if you ask any seasoned piercer, they will tell you that this is NOT a daith and is instead a type of forward helix. For $60 I expected to get exactly what I asked for but unfortunately that is not what happened. read more

Explain to me how you can manage to screw up simple script. It looks like a 3 year old attempted to write a word. Jagged lines, screwed up cursive letters. Worst and most unprofessional place I've ever been and would suggest no one ever go there. Way overpriced for horrible work. Place should be shut down. read more
