As a homeowner, we trusted that they would abate our asbestos safely and follow proper protocol. After they finished the job, our electrician discovered that they left large quantities vermiculite in the attic and wall cavities and purposely stuffed fiberglass insulation over the vermiculite to intentionally hide it from the inspectors. These areas were easily accessible to their workers and could be reached by their equipment (and easily visible to our electrician). They lied and said the vermiculite was removed from these areas. I suspect that his workers had been trained to purposely cut corners to save time and hide their incomplete work. This was a shocking discovery. They put our health and that of our contractors in great jeopardy by leaving this cancerous material so easily accessible. When I called to have them come back to fix the problem and finish the job, fortunately they did return. However, then we had to witness Kevin yell at his workers, blaming and shaming them for the problem. It was completely inappropriate and a bit staged. I will never work with them again, and would never recommend them.

After the unit was deleaded, they returned to retest units 1 and 2. It was confirmed verbally by DCM that we were lead free and that we would receive certificates / letters of compliance within a few days. We paid for these tests. However, no letter of compliance has been received. We have called and emailed multiple times and have not received a response. The deleaders (a separate company) have also contacted DCM on our behalf. Apparently, DCM has told them that the letters for both units were sent - but they have not been received and they are not responding to our calls, texts, or emails. It has been 4 months.

He was patient, diligent, and detail oriented to the extent that he would "geek out" about small details that he appreciated about the house's build, such as the electrician properly removing a knob on the sub electrical switch box. His report was provided to us promptly the next day, and he expressed a willingness to work with the competing schedules of all parties involved. We had an initial conflict doing the radon test and he moved his schedule around to accommodate a time-sensitive task the builders needed to get done. HIs report was thorough and detailed, with photos and arrows pointing to every specific thing he had pointed out to us during the inspection.
