At 8:10 called Joe and he kept on saying traffic was bad, it did not sound like he was even in the car. At 8:38 he texted me saying he is up against his next job, traffic is bad and we need to go re-schedule as he is not sure when he will get in. I definitely did not have the same experience…read more When I called ASAP to schedule a lead inspection, I had already arranged from a Home Inspection and was hoping to schedule it for the same time. The initial phone conversation resulted in a rough estimate, and they were very accommodating in working with my schedule. We arranged to meet at 9:30 am. When I arrived at the house at 9:30, the inspector was already there, and stated that he had already finished his inspection of the outside of the house! He took some time to explain exactly what he was looking for, as well as the method that he used. He provided a packet of information stating Massachusetts Lead Laws, as well as information on options for de-leading, if it is needed. We didn't follow him around to every room, but from when we were with him, he seemed to be doing a very thorough job, which also was followed up by a report detailing the results of every surface on which the test was performed. An added bonus was that the total cost was slightly under the original estimate! I would definitely recommend.

He appeared to be impatient and was moving a bit too quickly to have done that thorough job. He at one point told me I was 'asking for it' (it being the mold) by not running my AC enough (I have never heard such nonsense and I lived in Washington DC for 7 years, which is extremely humid, and never had a mold problem). When the inspection was complete, I asked if I could have a copy of the results and he says "No." and does not elaborate. When I asked why, he said "you're not the one paying me." He then began to walk out of my home while I was mid sentence, and with his back turned to me attempts to shut the door in my face. While I may not have been "the one paying him," I'm still a customer and you are in my HOME. His behavior was absolutely reprehensible. Also, this came up right away when googling his name.
