This place had absolutely everything I needed and more! The owners and staff were incredibly helpful, offering genuine expertise and insight. They had every crystal and stone bracelet I was looking for, and took the time to thoroughly explain the tarot cards I was drawn to. I ended up finding so many beautiful items that I was a little nervous about the total cost--but to my surprise, it was a steal! Everything was very reasonably priced. This fun, positive energy store is located in the Village of the Arts neighborhood in Bradenton, FL. I visited the neighborhood and store on a Saturday morning in June. They were one of the few shops open in the Village and I'm so happy they were open! I spent at least an hour there and could have spent longer. They are located in a charming, old house that's been converted into a shop with 5 rooms full of lovely new age treasures! They also have several tents on the surrounding yard full of outside art and gems/crystals! Soooo much to choose from! If you are looking for a gem/Crystal/rock, this is a wonderful place to find it. The selection is great. They also have an area where you can mine for gems and a few price points depending on how many gems you want to collect from mining. I didn't do it the day I visited but it looks like fun! The also had a chicken coop with some of the prettiest chickens!! The property is such a fun, eclectic experience. I asked and the tents, gem mining, and everything extra outside the building are permanent and not just a special event. They also don't have seasonal hours and are open as their hours are posted. I left with some fun, cool, and comfortable tye dye lounge pants, statuary, jewelry, incense, and more! The folks working in the shop that day were really helpful, not only with picking out items in the shop but also recommending other fun places to check out and good places to eat. This place is so wonderful! Went on a whim with my friends on vacation, they opened the gem mine for us after turning It off for the evening. Recommend the $40 bucket to split and we had A BLAST! Totally worth It, so many cute crystals inside and we found a huge amethyst at the bottom. This place has the largest selection of crystals in all forms I've ever seen with down right unbeatable prices. We had such an amazing time. My husband and I had discussed it and we had decided we were ready to have a Reading done, we had checked out a couple of local Metaphysical stores and found most to only offer Astrology and or Tarot readings. Although the offers were great it just was not what we were looking for. Then we came across The Village Mystic and found that they offered readings by a Shaman named Jeff, this definitely piqued our interest and seemed to be just what we were looking for. Upon locating the store we found the entire area to be very open and decorative all the businesses in the surrounding area were all very in line with what could be considered an open and free environment. A place where a Metaphysical shop like this could really flourish and be welcomed. Needless to say we were very excited once we entered the store, the storefront is very nice with a welcoming stepping stones path to the door. Once we entered the store the energy was very peaceful, but open you could tell people could talk and be themselves in a store like this. There was lots and lots of great merchandise, including the tumbled and raw stones, salt lamps, incense and even alter cloths. We had both opted to have a reading done with Jeff, and I went first. He has a very gentle and kind demeanor and for me was VERY, VERY accurate. No information was given ahead of time and no tarot was used in my reading he basically just went purely off his divine given gift and explained what he was seeing and or feeling. I was thoroughly impressed and had unanswered questions answered. I left my reading with a feeling of peace and happiness and felt that it was a genuinely great experience. My husband also stated that he felt very similar with his reading and had insights given to him he found quite surprising. All in all the staff was AMAZING, the customers were too and the store is an asset to the community. If you're looking for a genuine reader..
