TL;DR/The Short Version: Cute little florist and plant shop…read morein Westboro. They've been around for a while. The Long Version: I had to make specific plans to visit this store even though it's in my neighbourhood and I walk by it all the time because they are only open Tuesday to Saturday 10am-4pm. So they open after I'm at work and close before I finish and they're close to my home, but not my workplace, so I can only go on Saturdays. Hey, if they can make that work for them (and they do because they have been in business for well over a decade, maybe even more than two decades, as they've been there ever since I moved to the neighborhood), good on them. I would love to work limited hours too, lol. Anyway, I finally made it in to browse the shop. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, but poking around for anything interesting that would catch my eye. Admittedly, I have limited space for plants and am at the point in my collection where I'm only looking for small unusual looking plants (think mesembs). I did not find any but enjoyed looking around. They have pretty plants that looked to be in good shape. Nothing too exotic or unusual but a good selection nonetheless. Staff were busy tending to other customers so I did not interact with them, which is fine by me, as I prefer to browse on my own anyway. The store is very cozy and nicely laid out. Prices are higher than greenhouses/garden centres but that's to be expected, since it's a small boutique in Westboro, lol. Prices are comparable to other small plant stores in the city. Since I walk by all the time, I'll keep an eye on their window display and if they get any new and unusual plants, I'll make it a point to drop in again on a Saturday ;) Review #86 (2025)

TL;DR/The Short Version: Cute little plant and flower shop…read moreon the eastern edge of Wellington West/Hintonburg. Lots of air plants! The Long Version: I was in search of some air plants and did a quick online search and found that Wild Willy's had a large selection. I thought that was awesome since they are within walking distance from my home. I've walked by the store many times, but have never gone in until my recent visit. As soon as I entered the store, I saw the large selection of air plants (Tillandsia). Everything is clearly marked with the species and the price. I like that. I ended up getting a Capitata Raspberry Enhanced (meaning it's sprayed with a pink floral tint) for $14, an Ionantha Mexico Mini for $4 and a Bulbosa Guatemala for $6. I wanted different ones with distinctly different looks. I am thrilled with my plants. I put them in a glass bowl with some river stones I bought at Michaels and they are so pretty. There was a single staff member working when my husband and I visited the store. He greeted us but let us browse uninterrupted, which I appreciated. They sell lots of plants and flowers. I noticed some seashells and soap by the cash register too. They also have lots of succulents, including Living Stones (which I had to look up because I had no idea what the heck Living Stones were, lol. They were by the cash register and literally looked like stones, haha). The man working there was courteous during checkout and he carefully placed all the plants into a paper bag and put some tissue paper on top. The only thing is when we got home we realized we were overcharged by $2 :( Wished we had realized that at the store. Oh well. I would return if I was in need of plants. But I'll pay more attention at checkout next time. I don't think they have any parking spots for customers, so likely just street parking. (201)

There's a good variety on display in the shop, and they can mix and match if you don't see something you were hopign for. And they can deliver, if you wish, for a moderate fee. I will certainly deal with them again.
