Clean, respectful and friendly staff. You walk in and the vibe is wonderful. Pricey but they have specials.

Michael, the owner, is professional and responsive, and the people who currently use the co-working space are friendly also. The office is spacious, supplies are well-stocked, and the coffee never runs out. In terms of co-working spaces, it is also the most affordable option I found in Cambridge, especially if you bring in multiple employees and get the Geek Company rate.

I rented a large office (actually huge...it could easily fit six people) at Geek Offices for the…read morelast six months. The landlord Michael, mentions that the offices are low key, and they are. It's all cubicles and private offices. There is a nice kitchen with coffee and two fridges. The internet comes from a fiber connection and is 50 Mbit down (fast enough) and 50 Mbit up (much faster than you usually see.) And for those of you who care about latency, the ping is only 2 ms which is super fast. Geek Offices is a bit of a time machine. It's like the old days before super pretty shared offices with tiny tables and tiny boxes of an office. No. Here you get big private cubes with plenty of space. Nice offices with plenty of room. And yeah, you're renting from the guy who owns the building. He's very responsive and flexible. It's his building and he's happy when it serves people's needs. The offices are on the lower level. Some of the offices have high windows, but overall this is not a place with lots of natural light. The cubes and furniture aren't new, but they're in good shape and they get the job done. There are showers and bathrooms right across the hall. You get 24-hour access with a key card, and privates offices lock. And more time machine...there is parking. A lot of parking. It isn't cheap, but hey, where can you get parking just two blocks from Inman Square? There's even visitor parking. Whoever has that? Now if anyone would actually visit you in person, they could go right ahead and park for free. Really, this is a place to work. Get stuff done. Heads down. Just you or a small team. Then get lunch in Inman Square. Sometimes going back to the future works just fine. Oh, one more thing. The rental terms are incredibly flexible. You pay for the month. You can leave with as low as one day's notice. For example, you decide on December 30th that you need to leave. You give notice on the 31st. You can leave the next day. You don't owe anything. I had to have it explained to me twice because I couldn't actually believe it.

On Monday, 8/10 I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience parking at 401 Park. On two occasions over the past two weeks, I've attempted to reach out to the General Manager to resolve this, as encouraged by the "Responses from the owner." No one ever responded. I was under the impression that parking would be $10 validated for three hours, possibly $20 for a normal rate plus maybe another $5-10 for the additional hour. How high could it be, right? After all, your full rates aren't visible anywhere so I'm only left to assume. With the typical Boston rate for this amount of parking being $20-25, I felt as if my assumption was made in good judgment. As you could probably imagine, at this point, I was astonished to discover that the price for my parking was a whopping $38. As a customer, I feel this is unjustifiable both in price and lack of advertising of the full rate. In my emails that fell upon deaf ears, I requested a partial refund of my parking fee and more honest advertising of the full parking rate at 401 Park.

Three Years In and Still So Happy at Clippership!…read more I've lived at Clippership Apartments in East Boston for over three years now, and honestly--I couldn't be happier. It's clean, quiet, and feels super safe, which is a big deal for me. You're just a quick ride from downtown, but it still feels like a small, peaceful neighborhood. The building and grounds are always spotless, and they take great care of the property. The spring landscaping they just finished looks beautiful--it really makes the whole place feel fresh and vibrant. But the best part of living here? The staff. They're seriously amazing. Everyone is friendly, professional, and genuinely seems to care. Emma, in particular, is a total star. She's been here since I moved in and always brings such positive energy. She truly makes the place feel like home. Edgar and the rest of the team are just as great! If you're thinking about moving to East Boston and want somewhere with great views, great people, and a truly welcoming vibe--check out Clippership. You'll love it here.

When discussing the agreement for…read morethe space, I received a ton of calls and was able to reach the gentleman who handled our account at all hours of the day, but the day after signing it seems they fell of the planet. During the first two weeks, after some concerns with the onsite staff and lack of elevator service to the fifth floor (which remained out of service for over a month a half), I tried calling to discuss and was either hung up on or the call was transferred to another Regus site that couldn't assist. When I finally got someone on the line, my concerns were disregarded and was told we could not be helped. I was told that I could cancel our lease if I wanted, but that we would not be refunded and would have to pay for the months that we agreed upon. I was also told we could not transfer our lease to another month when service improved. None of our office equipment could be brought up to the 5th floor because of the elevator outage and not once did they offer any solution to assist. They then charged us for the use of their equipment because we couldn't access ours. I've worked with a few office space rental companies in the past and never in my life have I experienced such a blatant lack of interest or respect for clients. I truly hope they improve their services, but in the meantime... Avoid them like the PLAGUE!

That said, it doesn't feel like a library either (which was an issue in an office I worked at previously) - the low-key bustle of the place provides the perfect backdrop to feel like you're working amongst dozens of your peers, even if your company is based thousands of miles away like mine. And, crucially, the Wi-Fi never falters. The perks are also awesome - free coffee, tea, seltzer, and loads of snacks put out in the common kitchen area. You've got to be quick, because things sometimes get snatched up, but all the freebies give you a great reason to get up, stretch your legs, and see what's new to munch on. Also, every Wednesday they host a quick, 15-minute CrossFit WOD which is cool if you're into that. And there's a shower down the hall that's great for cleaning up if you do the WOD or commute in by bike. All in all, this is a fantastic spot to get work done happily and comfortably. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Olga and Joan were excellent and they were very helpful. The conference room has large open windows and a view of Cambridge. NGIN is not sterile, the colors are bright yet comfortable, it's got great vibes, modern yet with a flare. The kitchen area was well stocked with healthy snacks. I didn't check out their fridge, but I heard they are to die for! The staff was friendly and facilities were awesome. They have flexible rental that includes day passes, so if you are in town for a short time for a visit, you can use their space instead of forking out a whole month of rent and paperwork, who needs that, really? I've worked in a bunch of shared workspaces and I am super impressed with NGIN. You get a lot and not have to pay a lot. Every time I was there, I didn't have a hard time looking for street parking, which is a plus because if you go further down in Kendall, parking gets scarce. NGIN is across from Tatte for coffee/dessert and next door is Mulin, yummy Taiwanese food. Not to mention Lord Hobo, one of my fav local beer spot. And you can't go wrong with Emma's pizza, Hungry Mothers, Blue Room, etc. You are also close to Cambridge's groovy Central Square and eclectic Inman Square with a huge selection of ethnic food, vegetarian restaurants, bars, gyms, etc. I would highly recommend the space for work, fun, play and hangout. Check it out for yourself.

They do both reservations and walk-ins but it's safer to make a reservation ahead if you can. It's pretty easy to make one as well; we only booked a day ahead for a Friday night. Amazing first impressions as well. They make a tiny space work perfectly; I did not feel claustrophobic at all even with full house. They have really cute decors and the space is decorated well. They have their seasonal cocktails that you can choose your choice of liquor for and martinis (both vodka and gin). They brew their espresso fresh as well so the space smells so good every time it is brewed. I got a Peru Plunder and it was fruity and light (a dangerous one). Their apple pie old fashioned has an interesting aftertaste in a good way. The bartender and the server were attentive and friendly as well.
