I'm sure with different events and such, getting to the right place is difficult. If you're staying at the hotels "behind" the convention center, it's a short walk to the entrance, but man, trying to find your way to where you're going can be tricky. I think I walked around for like 20 minutes trying to find my conference. Overall, a good convention center, lots of space, and clean too!

The architecture and interiors give it that classic, old Boston feel, like stepping back in time. They even had posters set up so people could make signs for race day, which was such a thoughtful and fun touch. One of the underrated perks is the parking. If you have access, it is actually a really convenient place to park in a part of the city where that is usually tough. Glad I got to see it, and it is a great experience if you know someone who can bring you in.

Enter into the lobby of the 11th floor and find yourself on the upper level of the space, a balcony of epic proportions lining the entire circumference of the room and a wide wooden staircase leading down to the lower level. Floor-to-ceiling windows with expansive views of the Boston skyline give the space an open, airy feel, flooding it with tons of sunlight during the day, or the sparkle of the city at night. Everything, from the fully functional kitchen, to the room with the ping pong table in it, was immaculate, with the "newly built smell." Add to that a ridiculous sound system and one of the biggest projection flat screens in existence, and you have one of the coolest (and nerdiest) places in all the metro area.

Lots of couches and easy spots to chat and network. The catering was also pretty solid, with endless beverages in particular and a nice snack at the end, including hummus and other bites. Bathrooms were kept clean. Parking is a bit annoying; it's one of the weirdest shaped parking lots I've ever seen, with lots of diagonal and in-between-beams parking spots. Parking is $27/day and can be paid for at the exit or at the elevator.

Location: Right in the heart of Harvard Square. Historic, walkable, and surrounded by great restaurants, cafés, and shops. The fall colors were unreal during my stay so wandering around the neighborhood was such a vibe. Lobby: Warm, elegant and classic New England. I loved the academic library feel with books lining the walls. Check in was a breeze and the staff were genuinely thoughtful. They walked us through all the FHR benefits and even handed us a welcome gift bag with treats. Such a nice touch. Room: A little smaller than expected, but very clean and charming with that collegiate Cambridge aesthetic. The view overlooking Harvard square was beautiful on a cloudy fall day. And the bed? One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. Slept like a rock both nights. Overall this was very much a 5 star stay. Beautiful property, amazing location, and top tier service. I'd absolutely stay here again next time I'm in the Cambridge area.

Went there to see Mayor Pete during a Boston fundraiser. The house was almost packed. The main seating area does have a steep downgrade as you approach the stage, so mind that if you have some kind of cane, wheelchair or other ADA assistance device. I got there at 3pm and I was able to get a parking space a block away via Spot Hero for only $9. Good deal. Good sound system, good and clean venue.

The facilities were OK with a few issues. The actual auditorium was definitely designed for corporate presentations rather than live theater. There is no balcony, so the seating extends back pretty far. Viewers always have a clear view of the stage though, which is great, and they even have an orchestra pit. The seats are movie theater quality: not the superluxe recliners you pay $20 for these days, but the padded folding chairs you used to pay $7 as a teen. Remember how we used to try to sneak into other movies, or see that R rated flick our parents would never take us to? Ah yes...the heady days of our youth. I digress. The rest room situation is a little weird. The ladies room is near the entrance to the auditorium, so the women are able to step right out, and do their business. The mens room is in the basement, so you will be looking for a long time if you expect to find it any where on your way from the front door through the lobby to the auditorium. You must ask the staff to sort you out, which is just poor building planning. Beyond that, it is what you would expect from a meeting, and convention hall in the center of town. I assume that they have large conference rooms else where on the premises, but I only ever cared to sit in the auditorium to see some pirouettes and fouettes, so that is what I got.
