Before even chatting with them on the possibiity of having them represent me in selling my townhome they provided AMAZING VALUE with referrals to contractors to get my townhome ready for sale. I had been wanting to do renovations for over a year or two but was overwhelmed with not knowing good folks to use. Their willingness to share those contacts with me and provide that value before I even signed with them was what led me to asking for their help in listing my home once it was ready for sell! I love the team approach that they have. Kristin is an expert on the marketing side and Ken is a ninja with the business and negotiations and they also had Danielle make the process flow even smoother with helping with all the forms needed. The communication was always there (that is super helpful and important to me) and the experience was top notch (even in the hard or uncertain points of the deal). I also have to add that they definitely had MY BEST INTERESTS in mind when they were negotiating on my behalf and trying to get the best outcome for me. I was transparent and told them what my worst case scenario would be and I that would be willing to settle for that amount (people say not to tell your realtor your bottom amount as many will just take the easy way out and not negotiate as hard just to get an easier sell - but Ken didn't do that). Even on the repair requests, Ken didn't want me spending any more than I had to. I just wanted the home sold and out of my life, so I would have thrown extra cash to make it go away but Ken wanted me to get the most I could and truly was representing me and had my interests in mind! Well this business might be great as long as you are buying a house above $70,000. They make appointment with you an don't show up. Called the office and talked to the owner, he let us know it was a contract already on the house which they had from Monday to Saturday to say that. The perfect response to that would be I'm sorry we wasted your time is there anything else I can show today to get your business. Perhaps they were chasing a bigger commission. Apparently they don't know the rule "the customer is always right". The owner did not offer to send someone else to meet us after we had waited at the house for half hour and stayed in the area thinking the salesman would call or text back which he never did. Matter of fact owner was very rude and unprofessional, as though we were the bad guys to even suggest that someone from his agency didn't show up. He also made a point that it was only $70,000. Small commission. Why do you even list the less expensive houses, if you are going to treat people this way. My time is just as valuable. read more
