I stop by this cute store any time I am in the area. The owner is very friendly and really cares for her customers. The store is definitely more of the farmhouse chic type of decor that is super popular right now. I think all of the furniture pieces are hand painted to make them new again. They use chalk paint which is very nice! You can also buy chalk paint to do your own projects at home! Every once in awhile there are classes to learn how to paint your own furniture. If you have a baby or need to buy a baby gift, she carries some boutique type baby items that are very cute and would be really adorable for photo shoots. We love the Vintage Cottage! The owner and sales staff are always super friendly and helpful as needed. Even if I don't need anything particular to update my home I always find fantastic, creative and unique options for gifts. From a quick run in before a baby shower to Christmas decorations (Love their open houses and Christmas decor!!) and gifts I never leave empty handed. (Ok, I did once, but that was because a sweet upcycled table wouldn't fit in my car, had to return with the truck). This is my favorite store in all of Oregon. Love all the décor items. They range from a few dollars and up. Everything is always changing, new stuff mixed with old stuff. Decorated to give anyone ideals on what they can do in their own homes. You can buy furniture or they sell the paint to do it yourself. Love it. read more
