Looking for a place to stay in McMinville and found The Vintage Trailer Resort. They have purchased and updated several vintage trailers and they are so nice! There is a whole row at the park that is all vintage .... about maybe 20 trailers. Some are small and some larger ones as well. They all have 2 cute bikes that come with the rental. The prices are similar to what you'd pay for a hotel room. Each trailer has different decors, colors, vibe. One with a hot tub to the side, you can get a small fire pit at one. One has a stand alone tub. The park is very nice and well kept. One side is vintage with permanent trailers , the other sideis to stay with your own trailer. It's along side the river and is a quick 5 minutes to town. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We arrived a bit early and they were ready and checked us in quickly. The trailer is clean and very comfortable. There are several wineries and tasting rooms in town. It's such a fun change from a hotel room. Come check them out. So fun!! read more

There are beautiful vintage trailers to stay in. 4. You get a winery tasting discount passport that you can use while you're a guest at The Vintage but with check in at 4pm you barely have time to use it day of check in. Cons 1. The Neutron Couples #2 has a mildew/mold smell and it's horrific. The wood around the soaking tub has absorbed spilled tub water. Possibly a health hazard with a lack of concern for this problem. Also mold/mildew in all window. Jamie (GM) told me they're fully aware because past guests have told them about the smell. It's to bad they won't fix the problem and or warn potential customers. Maybe they're waiting till someone gets really sick. 2. Porch light and deck step light out and I was told "yah they don't work". 3. The cost per night was not worth spending a night in a moldy unhealthy environment. 4. RV park smelled like sewer both morning and evening. 5. We loved staying here. It's super-convenient to the wineries all around, and said wineries consider the Vintages a wonderful partner. We got many positive comments when we told folks that's where we were staying. Our trailer was cute, comfortable, and well-maintained. A unique experience. We really enjoyed our trailer and its retro vibe. In addition, it is so centrally located in the Willamette Valley, a short driving distance to a host of wineries (especially helpful after lengthy tastings) and other things to do (highly recommend the Evergreen Air and Space Museum to see Howard Hughes' Spruce Goose). Be sure to look into the Winery Passport, which allows guest to experience winery tastings for free or at reduced rates. Also convenient to some very nice restaurants---La Rambla, Rosmarino, Thistle to name a few. Keep in mind that space is tight in the trailers, but we adjusted very quickly. There is also a pool and individual outdoor grills, but the weather was a bit too cold to take advantage. This place is not for everyone but for those who enjoy a lodging experience that's out of the ordinary, Vintages is a great option in the Willamette Valley. read more

Pros Love the concept, the trailers could not be any cuter, ours was beautifully restored and was in fabulous shape, great location if you want to tour wineries, the set up and lights in the trees are magical and look like a movie set at night, AC was nice and cold despite 80° temps outside, everything was clean and well thought out. Cons Fully priced ($375 a night), much closer to the adjoining trailer than the online picture implied, my 6'2" boyfriend nearly knocked himself unconscious coming and going from the trailer (5' door) but that's on us. read more

My husband brought me here for my birthday and we had such a great time! Booking was easy, we did everything online. I found a coupon online and was able to save 15% on my booking. We stayed over night on a Sunday which was so nice because we had the pool and fire pits to ourselves. Each trailer comes with 2 bikes and we rode them through the resort. There isn't much places for restaurants nearby by but we found a bar that was 7 mins way and had food there. Will definitely be coming back! Such a nice relaxing evening! read more

I found out about the vintages resort several years ago via instagram. I drove past many times and dreamed of staying one day. Unfortunately I didn't have a dreamy stay. The trailer was exactly as described. I loved the access to the club house. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. If I were to stay again I would want to come in the summer to go to the pool. The unfortunate part of my stay was that the trailer smelt like someone had smoked in it recently. There wasn't a working smoke detector that I could locate in the trailer. While I was there I looked back through the listing to see if the trailer was smoking friendly. I didn't see anything on the online listing. If that were the case I would've opted to get a trailer that wasn't smoking friendly. I'm not sure if that's just how this trailer smells always or if it was the last guest who had smoked. I was really disappointed about that and it really overshadowed any of the positives. read more

Thanks to the Vintages I was able to relieve part of my childhood that I was not appreciative at the time. When I was a kid we used to travel around the country for weeks at a time in an Airstream Motohome. At the time I just want to camp in a regular tent like my friends. It was nice to have the opportunity to stay in an Airstream as an adult and really appreciate the experience. The Vintages is such a brilliant concept with all this vinatage old trailors that now offer modern amenites such as Smart Tv, Wi-FI, and Bluetooth Speakers. I was impressed with what our tralior had in the tiny space. My husband said he wished that offered more hangers, but aside from that, can't think of anything else it could of offered. My only regret that we got so exicted that we had Apple TV, we missed out on experincing a night at the firepit. read more

Such a great little getaway near beautiful Oregon wine country. Came over thanksgiving weekend and stayed in one of the dog friendly Shasta trailers. Check in was smooth and right when we walked in the trailer is was so COZY on a cold rainy night. I was a little worried about the bed being too small but it was just right and probably one of the most comfortable beds I've stayed in. The kitchen was equipped with dishes, cutlery, and glassware. No stove but there is a fridge, microwave and grill outside. The Vintages Trailer Resort was such a fun and funky get away from Seattle. Would be fun to go back with a group and try out some of the other trailers to stay in. read more

I finally found the time to spend a couple night and I wish I'd done it sooner!! The staff is friendly and helpful, the pool is sparkling and gorgeous and my air-conditioned trailer is a slice of heaven. It's spotless, beautifully restored, comfortable and cozy. I'm in one if the smaller units, but had plenty of room, a surprising amount of storage, everything I needed including TV, wifi and an extremely comfortable bed. I'm leaving a well deserved 5 star review for The Vintages. I'm not exaggerating when I say this place beat out any hotel or Airbnb experience I had. Disclaimer and tip, we stayed 1 night on a Tuesday early April and we were maybe 1 of 3 guests staying here. We had the Fireside to ourselves which was a beautiful location with lots of seating and warmth from the fire. The women who helped us check-in had the best customer service. I highly recommend booking a trailer with a tub or shower if possible for more privacy than using the communal showers, which we didn't get a chance to check out. The area was peacefully quiet, very walkable, and offered a lot of picture worthy sites. We used the grill which was really nice in the evening especially as the lane's trees all light up. The robes they offer are nice and lined. The property felt very safe. In my in-awe opinion, the trailers are better in person than the pictures show. Im wanting to go back. read more

I had such high hopes and for the most part the Vintages checked every box. Cute accommodations - check! Lovely location - check. Clean, organized and ready for me - check, check and check. Fire pit to hang out at after dark and not be stuck in my room - bonus check. So many positive things all overshadowed by one large negative. When I finally went to bed after watching some in-trailer Netflix I plugged my cell phone in and peacefully drifted off to sleep. Unfortunately when I work up, my cell phone which had been plugged into the wall outlet was fried. It seems like there was a power serge that killed it sometime overnight. It was so hard to be on a work trip and be completely cut off - luckily: 1) I had printed out the next day's meeting location and could use my car GPS to get there 2) that I hadn't plugged in my laptop 3) that I wasn't late from missing an alarm that didn't happen. I really wanted to give this a higher rating but when the resort won't contact me back regarding the phone problem - it's hard to rate it much higher. read more

So Merry Christmas to us from Santa. We were gifted a nights stay for New Year's Eve and the 1st day of a new decade in Trailer #31 AKA: Ptown. A 16' Airstream Bambi. First of all. If you don't like camping, STOP HERE. So many complaints about trivial items from other YELPERS. Is everything perfect in every place you stay? No! Is this a 4 Star Destination? No! BUT If you like camping. If you ever wanted to Test Drive A Camper. If you like being in Wine Country, just cuz. Then this is definitely Your Jam. There are some "Cons." 1. Be careful what you use. Some items are for sale. They'll have a Price Tag. The wine looked delicious but we didn't have $35.00 to spend on a bottle of wine. 2. The Stove Top In All The Trailers, Has Been Disconnected For Safety Reasons. There is a Microwave and a Hot Water Pot. There is also a Propane BBQ outside. 3. If you Don't Daydream Often About "Glamping" and just sitting around in or outside of your awesome trailer. Then your gonna be bored here. There is a Pool and Bicycles to ride but that's about it... Well, you are in Wine Country. 4. Our gift was a Groupon Deal and Did Not cover the $30.00 cleaning fee. Our email clearly pointed that out BUT we forgot that detail. After a phone call or two (our bad.) ,we were checked in. 5. We really didn't know about the cooking situation and assumed, being a trailer. It would have a working stove and brought food to cook. Wrong. Having said all that. The Pros. December 31, 2019. The weather was raining all day. After figuring out our dinner situation and the time of day and what day it was. We YELPED our best option. Found a store nearby. Awesome. Made it there and back quickly. We prepared for a party like no other. First, We made drinks. Boom. Party started. Second, Charcuterie. Boom. Snacks. Third, we set an alarm. Cuz we're older and randomly fall asleep. Then we started binge watching 007 movies. Naturally we both awoke just in time to celebrate the New Year. The Vintages are neighbors to another regular trailer park and at Midnight I could hear the occasional fireworks. I went outside to investigate. The Vintages were as peaceful as always. The neighbors, not so much. It was fine and didn't last long. We slept like babies that night. The rain on a metal trailer will make anyone sleep like a baby. Each trailer is it's own home. You need only bring food and clothing. Cold or microwavable food that is. Your provided with everything from dishes to bathing items to cozy robes and towels. There is also a pretty good, small but decent size Refrigerator as well. The Queen Size bed was super comfy. I spent most of my time on the bed, with all the pillows. Plus we brought pillows, because I like pillows. There is also a General Store / Gift Shop. I bought a 12oz. Coke thinking it will be crazy expensive. Nope $1.00. Cool. The 1 thing that is also offered for your stay, that we couldn't enjoy because of the Holiday and our very short visit. The Vintages have joined up with several local Wineries and you get a tasting card. It gives you some incentives to visit like BOGO Tastings or Popcorn at one place. lol We really liked staying at The Vintages and plan on visiting every New Year but for a little longer than 1 night, to cash in on some Wine Perks. read more

If you are looking for a 'step back in time' experience and you missed staying in a trailer on vacation growing up, or you think those airstreams look so darn cute, then you will love this place. The Vintages definitely provides a step back in time and has done a fabulous job marketing their resort as such. The highway right next to the property is loud, just FYI, and you might want to call ahead to see if they have bikes available if you are booking off-season. The Vintages is a very charming and unique option when staying in Oregon wine country. The trailers, vintage cruiser bikes and twinkle lights are truly photo worthy. Some rentals are even dog friendly! The staff member we interacted with was great and I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately there won't be a repeat visit for us. The highway noise is definitely an issue all hours of the night, you are also very close to camp neighbors and can hear their conversations, even with the windows closed. The a/c and heating system was quite confusing and went from very cold to very hot all hours of the night. To spend $323 for a single night (taxes, pet fee plus cleaning fee), I was hoping for a better experience. If this was a budget option in the area, it would be a win, but we had too many issues to justify the price. read more

We've been looking forward to our trip at the Vintages for months! We went all out and booked the mansion trailer for two nights at $800. The trailer is roomy, clean and the outdoor tub is pretty cool. Don't bring your kids if you want them to experience a campfire with s'mores. We visited the fireside with our 3 year old, stayed about 20 minutes and she had the time of her life. We took all the garbage with us, leaving no trace we were there. When we checked out the gal said 'I'll check you out and email you a receipt later' which I thought was odd it couldn't be done right then only to find out they charged us an additional $25 for bringing a child to the fire pits when no other guests were at the fire pits. What's the point of having a campsite when kids can't experience the best part and not be able to make some s'mores? If you want to ride bikes bring your own. They have bikes for you but won't let you take them back to your trailer for any period of time. Both days we stayed there might have been three trailers booked with about 10-12 bikes and we used two; always making sure there's plenty left in case someone did show up. The second day we had them taken away from our lot... but they were the only two bikes being used in the park. I get it if it was busy but at times we were the only guests there. We wanted to make this a yearly tradition to visit the air museum but I think we'll rent a hotel room. read more

I spent the weekend at The Vintages with my sister and our small dog. We loved our cozy little Shasta trailer! It was really cute inside and had everything we needed. Our trailer backed up to a large field with wine country in the background, it was beautiful! The bikes we could ride around were also super fun. My only complaint would be the fire pit is for 21 and over, which I understand, but my 18 year old sister would have enjoyed it. Maybe after 8 pm it's 21 and over? I also think the price was a little high, I would have stayed a third night had it been more affordable. I still give five stars because of the little "doggy bag" they had for my pup at check in with treats and toys (too cute!!). There was also a large newly renovated bathroom for us to use as well and the staff at the front desk was so nice. Would definitely stay here again! read more

I love this entire concept. Being able to sleep in a RV/Trailer park for a night or so is something that everyone should experience at least once I feel. If it wasn't for creative sleeping accommodations like this, I'm not sure if I ever would of had the opportunity to do so. We stayed in the Ideal trailer The decor was very quirky and vintage of course. I loved the bright pops of pink with the throw on the bed, pillows, and decor around the wall. Our trailer was equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, sink, fridge, and a very, very tiny toilet and shower. The stove/oven we couldnt get to work. There is also a personal BBQ grill, two bikes, and a little patio set right outside our trailer. Its a perfect place to stay and take advantage of all the amenities as long as they all work. My husband really wanted to cook, but it was raining off and on outside and like I said inside our stove/and oven did not work. The fact that we had to wait about 15 minutes before we could even check-in because I guess there is not enough manpower to leave someone at the check-in desk at all times was a downer. You also have to check-in before 6pm. The two bikes that are provided was such a sweet surprise, but the brown one my husband used needed some serious work. It kept making this cracking nose when he was riding it and he could barely get it uphill. I would stay here again. I personally need a bigger trailer to feel more comfortable. I would stock up on plenty of food and just chill here the entire time. They provide games in the trailers that we didn't have time to use. read more

I've stayed here a couple times. The last time I stayed I had an incredible experience while sitting looking out at the field. My soul dog, who I had just put down, and I had a conversation about my next dog. The next day I checked my email to see I got a request to foster a dog coming from China. I adopted her cause it was clear my soul dog sent her to me. Today is the one year anniversary of losing my soul dog. I wanted to take my new dog back to The Vintage Trailers to look out over that same field to feel connected to my girl. When I made the reservation, I emailed to make sure I got a trailer next to the field. However, I was not given a trailer next to the field. I asked to be moved and although the employee told me they had several Shasta trailers, they had no way to get me to a trailer overlooking the field. Because that was the whole point of my trip, I decided to cancel my reservation. I couldn't go into a lot of detail to the employee cause I knew I would become inconsolable. I did say there was a specific reason I wanted to be next to the field. My one star is because of the complete lack of effort in trying to move trailers and lack of follow through with my request when I made the reservation. Unfortunately, I lost $100 in canceling my reservation which seems a little unfair considering I had specifically asked for a trailer next to the field when I reserved. When there were several empty trailers, it seemed like a fairly easy request to follow through with. After all, it was two nights, mid week in February. Definitely not their busy time. Super bummed as there was a lot of intention and emotion wrapped up into the trip. read more

We just did one night here and had such a magical little evening. We stayed in the Neutron which is one of the few with a queen sized bed and a soaker tub. Our trailer was adorable and the tub is beautiful! It comes with Le'Occitane toiletries and plenty of towels. One thing to note is that it's probably not great for 2 people. Solo baths are the way to go..unless you're v. small people. Most amenities were covered which was such a nice convenience. They even supply you with a delicious coffee pour over station that was superb. The gift shop was THE CUTEST THING EVER. Not only did they carry anything you could want while "glamping", but they offered a ton of adorable, locally made items that I'd snatch it a heartbeat. The only reason I got one star is that the bikes they give you are a little rough. The tires on mine were shaky and I felt like they could pop at any minute. I will 1000% be back! read more

I spent a magical weekend at the Vintages with 20 friends for my birthday. The staff was so helpful with all the planning over the past six months, and they truly went out of their way to make it a perfect getaway. Each trailer had its own charm and style, some fancier than others. I stayed in the 1966 Airstream Overlander. It was lovely, comfortable, warm (despite being very cold outside), had a good shower with enough hot water... I could have stayed much longer. We rented the clubhouse for the weekend and just had an all around relaxing and wonderful time. Great spot for a group gathering! read more

We had so much fun staying at the trailer resort last night! On a whim, we decided to scoot down to the Willamette Valley to catch some leaf peeping and sip some wine. Planning only a day in advance left us with very few hotel options...and none of them very good. But lucky for us, a couple of the trailers were still available at The Vintages, so we quickly grabbed the Neutron3 before it got away. This was our first time staying in a glamper and let me tell you, it was a blast! First of all, the check in desk/boutique was perfectly adorable and wonderfully campy. Need a wine opener, a scented candle, some beer? They got you covered. Craving an ice cream treat? Got that, too. Then, when we got to our trailer, it was even more awesome than it appeared online. It was so well restored and maintained that it was hard to believe that they actually let people touch it, much less stay in it. It was like a mini museum documenting a certain space in time, yet expertly updated for today's exacting standards. The beautiful original wood paneling on the walls and ceiling glistened and everything was in perfect working order. The closet provided bathrobes and slippers, the bed was super comfy, and the bathroom even had a tiny shower! I couldn't have been more surprised...and pleased! I also loved the sense of humor of whomever designed our alien-themed trailer. All of the books on the bookshelf were about extra-terrestrials; the bathroom door indicated it was for women/men/aliens; and there was even a stuffed alien on the bed. Very quirky and clever all the way around. In fact, we had so much fun hanging in the trailer drinking wine and playing cards/Scrabble that we decided to cancel our dinner reservation and order in pizza instead, so we wouldn't have to leave. One minor detail I feel I should mention is that it was fairly beneficial that we are small people (5'2" and 5'8" respectively) because the bathroom in Neutron3 is compact (to put it mildly) and the bed, while a queen-size and very comfortable, is on the short side. So take that into consideration when booking. For us, it was perfect. And we can't wait to go back again soon to check out some of the others trailers. No need to stay anywhere else. read more

Came here for a night and it's such a unique place. Rented out their "signature" trailer and loved the retro vibe of the place. All original interior woodwork, appliances, and hardware, coupled with modern amenities like a/c, a memory foam bed, tv, etc. We grilled out for dinner and then rode the complimentary cruiser bikes around the resort to check out all the other neat trailers. Also enjoyed the fire pit area and, had we had more time, would have gone swimming. The location also is great, located in prime wine country for an easy drive to some vineyards. Prices were steep (we paid over $200 for one night), but the novelty of the place made it worth it. read more

IF it weren't for the unique 'theme' of The Vintages, I would honestly give it a 2. It was not clean, I've experienced better at 2 star hotels than the cleanliness we had. I was SUPER disappointed that the smores and fire pit were only available for 21 and up, as a lot of families stay at the resort. When we initially checked in, the front desk was friendly enough, but not the kind of service I expect for almost $200/night. As you can see from my photos, there was a lot left to be desired for cleanliness. I also found it unacceptable that there were LOADS of flies in our trailer. I killed probably a dozen before shutting the overhead panel that was letting them in. That was unacceptable to me that it wasn't closed and without bugs. We couldn't connect to the wifi when we arrived so I immediately called, and when the front desk girl came about 10-15 minutes later, she said the passwords on the form we received at check in, and what was in the trailer itself were wrong. Well if you knew they were wrong, why the heck didn't you tell me when I checked in? As far as cute, it is. Cute from the outside. We had two twin beds, and my 5 year old had plenty of room, but I couldn't sleep. The bed was comfortable, if you sleep on your back. But I am a side sleeper, so I couldn't stretch out, couldn't get comfortable at all. The best part of the trip was the evening, when they lit the park up. It was SO pretty and my daughter said it was magical. If you want the experience, see if you can find a Groupon or a deal so you aren't paying full price. Because I have REALLY high standards for cleanliness, and won't stay in anything less than a 4-5 star hotel when I travel, so this was really unacceptable to me. My wife and I recently stayed in the Neutron Couples trailer and loved every moment! The bed was comfortable, the soaking tub was extremely relaxing, and the property was the perfect backdrop to a nice getaway. Having a television in the trailer with streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ was also a great bonus. Unwinding at the end of the day while watching our favorite show and hearing the patter of rain on the roof was very comforting. We also took advantage of the bicycles and enjoyed the crisp air as we passed by each of the remarkably restored trailers. The gentleman who checked us in and gave us the rundown was also extremely friendly and very helpful! I'm hoping to return in the near future...and hopefully bring along several family members to stay in adjacent trailers! read more

I came here for a bachelorette party three years ago and walked away with bed bugs. It took me months to get rid of them in my house. They must have crawled into my bag or clothes after two nights in the trailer. If you know bed bugs, you know they don't rear there itchy marks for a couple of days so I didn't noticed the bites on my ankles until after the weekend was over. I called the trailer park to let them know and they said they would check the trailer that I was staying in. When I didn't hear back I called again and they said they saw no signs of bed bugs so they would offer me no refund. Cool, thanks. Spend your time and money any where else. read more
