Came to this vitamin shoppe this evening. This is probably the fourth vitamin shoppe I been to. Previously went to three to four other locations in search of Now brand D-mannose. My bestie swear by it that it works for bladder/urinary pains. I don't know much about this supplements so no further input from me about it. Since I am a Dietitian/Nutritionist, I probably should do some further Research on this supplement for personal knowledge. Maybe at a later time. Anyways, I felt the sales/cashier person Igor at this location was very helpful, knowledgeable and informative. He was a big help, going as far as ordering the capsule form of this product for me as there was none available at the store, except for the powder form. In addition he was friendly as answered all my questions. Even offered to drop of vitamins/supplements for me if I order from their store. Very nice! In addition, when I asked about the rewards card, he helped me sign up for the free card right away. Currently, I do not need supplements, but if I did this would be the shop I will be going to, to get my supplies. Happy customer! read more

Nice place nice people greeting you and they have everything you need. They recently opened but have every item you need stocked on shelves. They also have great deals on big packages. They always post at the entrance a description of monthly deals. I love protein chips and their chocolate protein shakes. Best price u can find unless you prefer to use not a brand name, which is in my book not the best option. Try their protein bars, LUNA is my favorite. Less sugar and 12g protein and taste just like a real chocolate bar. Most of the protein bars taste horrible, like chewing on the sand paper and their taste remind me of the left over lunch of spaghetti or couscous and old meat or fish mixed with peanut butter and cookie-dough... disgusting!!!! But The vitamin shop managed to have interesting selection of tasteful bars . Coming here every week for over a year already and will continue. read more

Great service and quality products. Vitamin Shoppe seems to really pay attention what products they sell to the public. I prefer them to regular pharmacies and Amazon for that reason. Their focus seems to be on organic, natural and quality products not just commercialized, business-making supplements. Service pretty much always exceeds expectations. Igor is very competent when it comes to providing information on the products and healthy nutrition in general. He has given me lots of great advice. read more

They seem to have a good range of supplements, but prices are on the high side. I expect that from a standalone brick & mortar store, though, so that's not the reason for my low rating. What I am rating them for is the advice the salesperson all too freely volunteered without even being asked for. I'm fairly knowledgeable about health-related issues, and was just looking for a vitamin for supplemental nutrition purposes. I only asked where I could find the right section in the store, which was helpfully pointed out, but then while browsing, I found myself being asked about a whole range of what amounted to medical symptoms and conditions, with suggestions offered as to which particular version of the vitamin were (supposedly) most appropriate for the different problems. To be fair, the advice wasn't completely off-the-wall, but most of it was of the sort that's based on anecdotal experience or extremely limited initial investigation - none of it was based on well-established scientific studies. (Personally, I don't accept blanket health recommendations from even the so-called Medical Establishment without adequate research behind them, let alone from the "supplement" industry.) Giving them the benefit of the doubt, they stopped just short of offering what amounted to medical advice and prescriptions, but still I found it extremely questionable coming from someone who obviously isn't a trained (nor indeed licensed) nutrition professional, let alone a medical practitioner. I think it's inadvisable for many people to get their health advice from random websites and blogs written by under- or completely unqualified writers, but that is, after all, their own business. Salespeople in vitamin stores, on the other hand, should not be giving, let alone volunteering, such advice themselves. I don't know if this is the norm at all Vitamin Shoppe stores, but I've never experienced such blatantly inappropriate salesmanship at the many health food stores and (fewer) nutritional supplement retailers I've patronized over the years.
