The deli and meat department are also top-notch. And there is an enormous bulk nuts and candy section where you can measure out your favorite selections and bag them. Fresh Thyme is really a unique shopping experience for groceries and even though I live close to the center of Columbus, it is well worth making the drive to come here for the quality & variety of healthy food that is available!

They have a lot of whole wheat items and vegan selections as well. Since half my family members are predominately plant based I find more selections here than I often do at whole foods. Today, I want to give a shout out to the bagger, Evan. All the baggers at this location are usually good but he was exceptional. He took care in packing my items. It was like he was a Tetris ninja. Bags weren't over or under stuffed.... Everything just fit perfectly within the bags without items being squished or packed with items that they shouldn't be packed with. (Ie: meat with fruit. It's been the same for years. In the hot bar, the only vegan options are really the Chana Masala and samosas. The Dublin location has different options each time I visit. I like the employees at the Easton location, but it nearly takes an act of congress to order a pizza. Some different vegan options would matter.

It has been ages since going to a GNC, but what brought me back was I found an item cheaper here…read morethan where I normally purchase from Amazon. I ordered online for pickup at the store. Surprisingly, you get a discount with pickup from store. Everything went smoothly with order and pickup. Friendly customer service. The problem came when I had to make a return (thus the reason for 4 stars instead of 5). Although the receipt stated items could be returned to store if not satisfied, that was not the case. I was told that since I did not have a store account, their computer system could not find my order to allow for a refund. Sorry, but that should not be the customer's problem. Long story short, I was eventually given a replacement (only because my item was only $2.99). With this experience, I doubt if I will return to this store unless I plan to make purchases in the store and can make returns without having an account. On a side note, they need to tone down the air freshener scent in the store--it is too strong--soon as you walk into the store, the scent hits you.

Somehow I haven't been to this one, or at least haven't reviewed it. Stopped in after going to…read morethree others looking for a specific whipped cream item (maybe seasonal?) and some sandals (definitely seasonal.) Didn't find either. But, liked the location. Decent parking, open and bright inside, the usual selection of Aldi items. They usually have most of the staples you need, but maybe not everything for a standard weekly shopping trip. And then they have some surprising unusual items or flavors. Definitely worth checking in once in awhile and picking up something new. Lots of self checkout lanes now, at most locations. Remember to bring bags and a quarter (I almost always forget.)

We all know that ALDI is one of the cheapest places to grocery shop while still getting quality products. I just wish there were more of them around. The one closest to me is rather small and I always forget it's there. Anyhoo, this ALDI is located directly off Morse Rd., has a large parking lot, and is pretty big inside. I appreciate how spacious it is, especially during the time of COVID. While a few social distancing rules are in place (masks required and spaced out while in line) people were not exactly being the safest. I also noticed that they only had 2 checkout lines open on a busy Sunday afternoon and the lines were backed up in the aisle making it difficult to shop with distance. They also weren't monitoring how many people were in the store and it was crowded. I would definitely recommend coming at off hours, like during the week day. Ok, ok, back to the normal stuff. I was specifically looking for gluten free items and I found a ton and all reasonably priced. My cashier was friendly and bless her heart for that. Other customers were not so much. Everything was in stock, which was impressive on the weekend. The produce looked fresh and I grabbed up a few things like zucchini. All in all, I'd shop here again. I just recommend skipping a trip on the weekend and swinging by when it's not as busy.
