Don't try to pay with credit card, their tech is broke and they are clearly in no hurry to fix it

Came here this morning to meet my boyfriend and to get a coffee and some breakfast. He visited the…read morebreakfast bar and was very happy with the eggs and potato's! I got some yogurt and a fresh hot coffee! We were both happy with how intentional the barista was and I am in love with my triple shot mocha!! It doesn't taste burned in the slightest and it was one of the less-expensive espresso drinks I've gotten lately. I would come to Whole Foods for coffee! Just did not realize it was an option! (Note they have a seasonal date and something else coffee I was eyeing and I might have to try it next time. Will update this review when I figure out precisely what it was called!!) I don't often go to grocery in the AM but honestly the ambiance at this store was lovely! Upbeat happy music, bright and clean, and most of the employees had smiles!

Super convenient, clean, organized. Living locally I go to this Whole Foods usually as it has…read moreeverything you need and order pickups are super easy and convenient. The sushi and bakery items are more extensive and make right there at the Raymond Road location though, so when I want sushi or cakes, I go to the other Whole Foods-- otherwise this Whole Foods is totally comparable to other locations. Friendly attentive service. Prices a little on the high side, but being a prime member is useful for the sales and promotions. I love Whole Foods for their healthy products, fresh produce, freshly ground peanut butters, and delicious deli meats (without the nitrates and bad stuff). You get good value on healthy products here. And easy parking and location!

1.) Reason for coming: I went to the Simsbury location to…read moreget my girlfriend her quick fix canister. I decided to come the West Hartford location to get mine, plus it was convenient and apparently this place never had a review. 2.) Background: This West Hartford location apparently has been opened for some years now. From afar it looked brand new. I guess do to all the renovation, they have made GNC and the stores in that little niche area to look very modern, so it definitely could give one that impression. This store is in the middle of Maximum Beverage and Sakura Japanese in Bishops Corner. 3.) Aesthetics: Once again this place looks pretty new and clean. The cardboard boxes in some areas gave it the impression that this was a new branch for them. Nice, well lighted, it just doesn't seem to gather much business. I was told that they get pretty good business there, and that today was the day they got about 50 customers. 4.) Service: Unlike the associate at the Simsbury location, the guy who worked here was very laid back. He wasn't corporate where he tried selling you products that you didn't need. Customers had questions and he was able to answer them in very great detail. That was a good thing to know - he knew his supplements. 5.) Prices: You can find pretty good deals here. I paid $25 on a large canister of Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard Whey. 6.) Products: They have Whey, Hydrolyzed Whey, Soy, Egg and Casein Protein. They have supplements for men and women. If you know about GNC I shouldn't have to say anymore. It's a supplement store, like the Vitamin Shoppe. 6.) Impressions: If I ever run out of protein, I will come here.
