I hadn't been to this location in over two years due to a move, and the drop in service quality is shocking. When I walked in, two employees (both with red hair) were sitting at the counter on their phones. Neither one looked up, acknowledged me, or offered assistance. The previous staff used to be incredibly professional, but the current team lacks basic customer service skills. After walking around without anyone offering to help, I decided to leave. On my way out, I overheard the same two employees gossiping to other customers, bragging about how they "got the manager fired." This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. Perfect customer service here. I walked in with screenshots of some extra vitamins I needed. The young man behind the counter jumped up with a smile and knew exactly where each were. he grabbed them for me and escorted me back to the counter. He also let me know about other vitamins that were flying off the shelves and discounts on others. He was professional and super sweet and knowledgable. WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE Worse shop ever. Went in and spoke to Maria the manager. She said the only way to get a special on the protein cookies I like was to buy THREE other boxes and they would mail the ones I like to the store. She even showed me where they were in stock in the warehouse and how when she placed my order it was reduced from 6 to 5. (Meaning "MY box was guaranteed.") three weeks later of calling every other day to check (as advised) and still no package. We called and they said "Apologies, there were no cookies in stock. We refunded you for that ONE box." I said wait a minute.. what about the other things you said I had to purchase to get the special on that box? They were like "Oh, well.... too late now. No refunds!" I was told that the supervisor Maria Garcia could be reached at 888-482-9433 and when I called they had no idea who she was and after speaking to 4 people and hold times up to 9 minutes... We are always amazed at the great service we get at any Vitamin Shoppe--courteous, friendly, helpful, professional. They go the extra step to help and make one's purchasing experience a pleasure. The Homestead store is the one we most visit. No matter who is working, we always feel great going there because it's like going to a store where the owners are serving you--people who want to make sure you are satisfied with your visit and come back again. Not the usual experience in most businesses nowadays. We want to thank them at Homestead's Vitamin Shoppe in particular.
