The manager there is quite rude and highly unprofessional. I called to see if they carried an item to be sure before traveling there and couldn't get a word in before I was placed on hold for over 10 min. I was told her name was Meeko when I called back and got a quick response from another employee. I was told the store closes at 7 when their site clearly says 8:30?? I got there in time but part of the store was crowded with boxes and just looked a mess!!! Came to this store for one item but definitely won't be back. Seems like they were on the verge of either closing down or moving things around but either way, it takes five seconds to hear what someone needs instead of leaving them on hold to hear the chatter going on in the store IMO. I've never been wowed at a Vitamin Shoppe! I went in looking for a supplement I used to buy there many moons ago. I later transitioned to purchasing on Amazon Prime for convenience. Fast forward a few years later and my rarely used - but extremely necessary when needed - stock of this supplement ran out. As usual, I went to check Amazon- sold out. A quick google search and nothing seemed to be available online. I even called the company that makes the supplement to see if they stopped selling it and was advised that since it's a homeopathic supplement they were having trouble sourcing the ingredients therefore making it hard to come by. I recalled seeing a vitamin shoppe nearby and that it was the only storefront location I could find this product in the past so I stopped in. I was greeted upon entering and could overhear the cashier having a friendly and informative conversation with a customer checking out. Once he was done he came over to ask if I needed assistance. I told him what I was looking for and he lead me to the section where similar products were located. I didn't find the product I was looking for but found something else I had read good reviews about so thought I'd give it a try. Upon checking out he asked if I checked online and I told him I had and it was nearly impossible to find. He helped me do an online search and found the product I was looking for. This is the true meaning of going above and beyond for a customer! I wish I had gotten his name to praise him directly but I didn't. Thank you for your service kind sir! read more

Worst customer service. Manager is rude and some of the employees. The manager especially is rude and condensing. They need to start with that to make it a better store. read more

The workers there are very nice, however the manager is not. I went in to tell them that one of the items I buy regularly was on sale on a website. If I get one of the associates, they happily marked down or look up the pricing and gave me the lowest price available on the net. When I went in again, the woman, whom I'm assuming is the manager (Asian) asked me if I could show her it on my phone. When I told her that the workers either honored what I told them or looked it up on their computer, she said she couldn't do that as it delays them from helping other customers. I literally looked around and there was NO other customer in the store. When she saw me look around, she told me that she would do it this one time but I would need to put it in my phone and bookmark it. No, you couldn't print it out etc. She said it was their corporate way of verifying/matching pricing. I could not find anything on their website about what they would honor for price match. Needless to say, I went ahead and just ordered what I needed at the lowest possible pricing at that website, NOT The Vitamin Shoppe's. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the product was a lot fresher than what I had been buying from The Vitamin Shoppe. It was a win/win for me...not having to deal with that manager, getting the lowest possible pricing AND the product being fresher than what I had been purchasing at The Vitamin Shoppe. I will not be promoting their store as a friendly place to shop. read more
