The closest to nutrition I have ever gotten is buying a granola bar. I am absolutely clueless when it comes to this stuff, I actually think that there is a little bit of nonsense involved. But yes, there may be a few situations that will bring you in, for example, if you are doing some severe physical training, or if you are an athlete, maybe if your metabolism is not working correctly. I came in because I was looking for a box of tea, an imported brand called Shoti Maa. I did not find it, but I was able to browse around. Yes, there are lots of vitamins, lots of alternative medicine, all types of herbs in capsules and syrups, etc. Also, lots of muscle builders and energy bars. And lots of teas. Yes, yes, I get it. If you want an alternative source of stuff, come to the Vitamin Shoppe. If your nutritionist prescribes vitamins and herbal supplements, or if you want to be healthier. I kind of get it, but I will try to star away for as long as I can. read more

I was having major soreness in my legs, after having a more intense workout than usual, and was recommend by my dad to get some post workout amino acid supplements, to help my muscles rejuvenate. Me having never used supplements before I didn't really know what exactly to get, having the store filled with all sorts of brands and vitamins. I knew the basic idea of what I needed, but wasn't sure what exactly to get, that's when I asked the gentleman by the counter. The gentleman's name was Jesus I believe, and right of the bat he was very kind and welcoming when I entered the store. Coming into that environment, not really knowing what to get, Jesus was more than helpful with getting me sorted out on what I need. He instantly started to go into detail about what product is what and what exactly I would need for my given situation. With me getting what I came for, Jesus suggested I also mix in a protein supplement with it, to maximize the effect of everything and would surely let my muscles rejuvenate after a long day of walking around. I work outdoors and rarely have time to sit down, Jesus's care and extra questioning allowed for him to see what else I could use, to help reduce the amount of soreness I get in my legs. I ended up leaving the store satisfied and a little more educated about what it is I'm taking into my body. In all, those that don't have the exact understanding of what you need to get, I would highly suggest asking Jesus for help, as he is more than helpful! When I walked in, they greeted me warmly and made me feel welcome. Miguel Angel's product knowledge was awe-inspiring; he took the time to understand my needs and recommended the perfect product for me. His genuine enthusiasm for the products was contagious, and I left feeling confident in my purchase. Derek also deserves recognition for his exceptional customer service skills. All of his employees have a friendly demeanor and are willing to assist with any questions. He leads by example. Overall, my interaction with Miguel Angel and the employees and manager at the Vitamin Shoppe is top-notch. I will definitely return to this store in the future, knowing I will receive exceptional service from this dynamic duo. TERRIBLE NEW MANAGER I wish Celimar it the previous manager was back.2/28/2020 went to vitamin shoppe which we are a clients of 5 years now. And spend monthly over $600 in vitamins for myself, my husband, child, and parents. Also we bring many clients from our business and friends there because of the old manager that apparently just left Celimar and Rowan that was there before Celimar. I believe that was her name. They were amazing. Moving on to the bad experience, yesterday my husband went to the Vitamin Shoppe next to La Fitness in the morning, as usual he likes to spend his time there shopping and comparing products and asking questions for me since I am a fitness blogger and I like to recommend good products to my followers. But unfortunately the treatment yesterday he received by the new manager was extremely rude, and unprofessional. My husband had a product he bought there we the confidence that we try and if it dosent work after trial bring back as expected. There is no way I would recommend that product as it did not work. The bottle was half full, which he stated was too little to return, and he didn't even check the same product brand new was not all the way to the top, they usually come 3/4's of the bottle. He was extremely rude saying "this is the last time you are going to do this, I am doing this as a complimentary for one time only" my husband explained that he called the Vitamin Shoppe main number in advance and they stated that if it's more than 30 days they only don't do cash back, but they do exchange for another product. When my husband said that the manager said to him "this is MY policy, and it dosent matter what they said." He also will give you THE HARDEST TIME to price match and of the products found cheaper elsewhere. At that point my husband got very upset and returned all products he was going to buy, and bought all items on Amazon instead. I will attach photo of the receipt of the article returned. My recommendation if they can't do it call customer service and go to another store because they will do price match with Amazon. This made my husband super upset because we have been long time consumers and spend lots of money there monthly and he gave a hard time for a product that didn't work as expected, it cost only $13, and we go there all the way from South Beach because we liked the OLD managers who treated us as friends and always welcome, and the old management knows how much we spend there and value our relationship and customers we bring them continuously. This new man manager is completely rude and unwelcoming looks bored with his job and annoyed, and until he is no longer there we will no longer be going back, and we will pass this review elsewhere so that our clients, followers, and friends are aware of the horrible current management. read more

Terrible service by Nestor. I come here all the time for the past two years every month and buy lots of stuff for my husband. I bought Super HD weight loss, convinced by one of the sales girls that it does a great job to burn extra fat to shred fast. And she said if I don't like after using it all (to see if it really works) to bring back the can for full return. Because of her saying this to me (blond girl) I accepted to buy it, and give it a try, normally I don't try new stuff but I thought "what the heck, even if it dosent work I'll bring the can back for a return". All it did for me was heat my body up, and caused major allergy on my legs for low circulation it brought out in me. Had terrible swelling in legs. (And I follow a very high workout regime as well as a strict food plan, with no additional additives except protein, which we buy here also). So my doctor told me to stop. I brought the can back after two weeks. The customer service here was the reason we became regulars and their price match guarantee, I come all the way from South Beach to North Miami for this little shoppe because the service was everything to us. For some reason all the good employees that gave outstanding service left, and the ones that are here now are super rude. Including Nestor being one of them. He is the reason I probably won't go back anymore and just go to GNC instead. Which is much closer to my home anyways. Nestor was not apologetic, and tried to make a big scene and make us feel shy at the front desk while there was a big line behind us. Super rude, and unprofessional, he should not be in customer service!!!! read more
