The facility was so clean and smelt so good! The aroma of the fresh fruit was my favorite. I ordered a traditional strawberry and banana smoothie which is called "Angel Food". I knew it was meant for me because I am an angel lol. My husband had the PB Swizzle Açaí bowl and it was soooo good! Instead of the situation being handled calmly and professionally, things escalated to the point where the manager involved the police. My friend was not threatening anyone, causing a disturbance, or acting aggressively. She was trying to explain her concerns and wanted to make a complaint about how she was being treated. I have never understood why a customer asking questions or wanting to speak up about their experience should result in the police being called. There were plenty of opportunities to simply communicate with her and resolve the issue. She even went to another Smoothie King afterward and was able to order what she wanted without any problems. As a friend, it was upsetting to see her treated that way over something that could have been handled with basic customer service and communication. Very disappointing experience. Management should seriously reconsider how situations like this are handled.
