My friend was looking for some vitamins & supplements since she didn't receive the order from another business. We had just come from GNC but they only had 1 supplement she was looking for. Peter was really helpful & gave lots of suggestions & information to both of us make informed decisions. She ended up getting a couple of bottles and so did I. I asked a lot of questions and he answered very thoroughly & showed examples of some supplements, how people felt on them, if it worked or didn't based on their experiences, what the supplements do even if I've never heard of them. I was very impressed and thankful he was reasonable & not trying to sell the most expensive item. I would go back just for his feedback & helpfulness as there are a slew of brands, items & it's hard to know what to select. I was able to buy some items to try & he even told me when to take them, ie on an empty or full stomach. I'm excited to try them! My other friend always gets her vitamins & supplements at The Vitamin Shoppe & has a rewards membership. Very bad experience. Walked in and it started. Asked for assistance said we don't have it here in the store. It's probably on the website. I ask can. You help me Just. Stared and laughed. I walked out and one of the workers continued to laugh. Talk about issues with people of color. *****updated review. I was contacted by Don the District Manager. He listened to my complaint and apologized for the type of behavior I experienced. This says a lot about the company. I will be visiting again and I'm certain my experience will be positive. I like this Shoppe! This location is excellent in size and has a wide variety of supplements, vitamins, self care, and even cups (shakers/water jugs). I like this store a lot. The location itself is nice, it is on the far edge of the strip, and there is plenty of parking. If you come during lunch hours though parking is usually taken up by chipotle diners- so be prepared. Customer service is great, always helpful, and quick to help me find what I am looking for. I appreciate the multiple flavor options also. read more

I got on to vitamins through my dad when I was a teenager. He recommended I take vitamins to help with energy and focus. When I became a vegetarian vitamins then became more important to balance out my lifestyle. I really like coming up Vitamin Shoppe because they have a great selection of vitamins, supplements, beauty needs, protein bars, etc. When I come in I usually pick up 4 different vitamins. Most of the time I'm able to stick with the same brands but once and a while I'll have to try something different because my usual isn't on the shelf. Even when I've had to switch it up I still know I'm getting a great supply. They have a lot of options and they are very comparable. Usually they also have reduced prices around the store. The staff is helpful here. There used to be an employee, a manager I think, who made me feel like I was not supposed to be there. But I haven't seen him the last two-three times I've stopped by. So I haven't felt judged these past few visits. I inquired about blue spirulina and they were quick to jump on their computer and take a look. Unfortunately they don't carry the product, but they did carry the new flavors of Complete Cookies (OMG Mint Chocolate Chip!) and they even had a Real Good Enchiladas frozen meal left, whereas I usually only see the personal pizzas. I snatched them up with a quickness. The cashier made lighthearted conversation about the shrinking sizes of the Complete Cookies--I don't mind the smaller cookies, but he doesn't like them. As long as they cost less, I suppose! It was nice to have that fun banter with him and I hope I see him and more employees like him on my next visits. read more

Loved the selection but was a bit overwhelmed. Husband and I went in for some new multi vitamins for and some vitamin D pills and walked around for 15 minutes before we got any assistance. The hours are a bit off as well but the store served its purpose. Candice read more

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Prices aren't cheap but are comparable to what you'd find elsewhere. And this location is hella more convenient and easier to get in and out of than any mall based GNC. read more

Got a new pre workout from there today. Some girl recommend it to me, I LOVE it! It's bigger and has a bigger selection than GNC. Better prices as well. They also have a rewards program that let's you rack up points and gives you money off when you accumulate so many. I'll definitely keep going there. read more

I like their selection. Their staff on the other hand could use a little help. I went in there, wasn't even greeted, wasn't asked if I needed help. After being in there for about 10 minutes, I asked for help and the girl acted like I was really inconveniencing her. The guy and the girl were more interested in their conversation than actually being at work. When I checked out, the guy asked if I had their reward membership and when I said no, he didn't offer to sign me up for it. Just overall an unpleasant visit. I guess nothing has changed at this location. I read a review from 2015 that sound exactly like my experience. No one greeted me or asked if i needed help. I had to ask and when i did they acted like they'd rather be anywhere else or as if i was interrupting their conversation. Plenty of other places to get vitamins. read more
