I walked in with questions on a few vitamins and was recommended three different items and was told that they had a return policy. After a couple of weeks I called the store telling them that I was very unsatisfied and was given the you need to give it an easy 3-4 weeks to start to feel the difference. So I did and still nothing. I was given more bs and excuses. It was frustrating. I spent a lot of money, or should I say wasted. I will never go back. They did not want to honor the refund policy. A few months back, I went to the Vitamin Shoppe to look for a Sports Drink, which I purchased. While I was waiting, I decided to check out their other products; 1, being in the back on the bottom shelf, called Horny Goat Weed in a package that didn't give me enough information. So I waited until all customers were gone, in case this was sensitive information! When I asked an employee (not sure if she was the Manager or not), she lambasted me, saying , "What do you think it does? I was thinking to myself, I don't know, that's why I'm asking you, but out of shock I didn't say anything! Had I asked her what does St. John's wart does? Does it take away warts? No, this nonprofessional person had to make me feel Highly Uncomfortable for trying to get an education! Substandard Service, and I'm extremely Offended! They keep 4 flavors on tap (they had original, grape, pink lady apple and pomegranate) but occasionally swap these out for new flavors. Buy a signature jar for $5.99, then every refill with the jar after that is only $3.99. One of the Vitamin Shoppe's lovely attendants even dons up some gloves and pulls the liquid gold for you in whatever flavor combos you like. Only issues is that it's still a little pricier than what you can get online (not by too much though) and the staff was not aware of certain product sales they when i went to make my purchase. Update: made a purchase online, had some discrepancy on the order on my part. Walked into get some assistance, and received so much help. The staff were so friendly, helpful and considerate. The lady this morning named (Carol) to begin with was already not pleasant then I came back again Ohmygosh the worst experiences ever. This kid (named Casey-found out from Store manager) who he claims was a manager in store not wearing a badge very improper treated me with unfairly and differently like discrimination. He then looked at the item and sure enough finding out it wasn't open like I said. He mannerism were so nasty. I told him he should inspect first before judging me. He didn't even say sorry he just started processing my return I asked him his name was he didn't want to tell me bec I said I want to put a review on yelp. He said in quote" I'm not gonna give you my name if your going to give us bad review." I walked into an empty store with my mom. There were three employees chatting at the center of the store. I walked around for a couple of minutes while they talked before asking, "Hi! Can I get a little help over here?" I asked the woman to help me locate a product in the store, and she began a very unhelpful monologue about what I was "actually" looking for, trying to explain the product to me. I know the product. I cannot give this place a one because they do sell vitamins and were open when I walked in. My problem was that I needed liquid B6 for my child and I called to put it on hold. When I got to the store the girl lied and said they did not sell it in liquid form and only in tablets. When I asked if there were child friendly B6 vitamins she rolled her eyes and snapped that they don't make anything child friendly. I came back to the store later and I guess it was a miracle because they had B6 in liquid form. So after two trips and several phone calls I got what was there in the first place.
