I ordered the Lebanese breakfast plate, which is avocado toast zhuzh'd up with hummus, fresh cream, feta, eggs, and purple cabbage (yes, the addition of this brassica should have been a red flag). What I got was a cute turquoise plate with a mound of what was my order covered in bright pink sludge masquerading as hummus. I'm guessing the chef thought that pink hummus would be an inventive choice against the plate color? Aside from the color, the taste was horrific and most-definitely not homemade. Hummus is at its core essence a 4-ingredient situation (chick peas, water, tahini, lemon juice) but this tasted like only the first two items were used). Underneath my "hummus" was a shed load of boiled cabbage and the lightest of smatterings of old brown avocado which tasted like avocado when it's gone brown and should, therefore, be binned. The menu is extensive with what must be around 50 items including a specials menu and loads of veggie options. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich (£6.50) which was dripping with a ridiculous amount cheese. The order also came with a pot of slightly salty tomato soup to dip the sandwich in. We were given a buzzer and asked to wait outside while it was made. The place is small, so this provides space for others to come in a place their order. We got the bubble waffle within about 5 minutes, and my daughter got to work on eating her delicious treat (after a few photos for you all of course)! This Creams has a giant TV screen and also games room with a big screen on the floor, which kids and teenagers can enjoy. I ordered the PBJ waffle- that is peanut butter sauce with strawberry sauce drizzled on top with a choice of a side of whipped cream or ice cream. I chose ice cream. The Waffle was nice and thick. What I had a problem with was the out of balance sauces. The strawberry sauce was way too much, varying on sickley sweet. The Ice Cream although nice is very basic and did melt a little too quickly. The Waffles range between £5 to £6 My family had the Banofee Waffle and the Apple pie and custard Waffle which tasted sooooooo much better. To mark the day we went into their Photpbooth which you had a choice of a singular photo or the multi choice photo- we went with the latter. You pick your choice of background and take the photo. It said we had 4 tries to get the right shots but we ended up having two-not by choice. The print came out well and cost us £2 The staff are pleasant.
