Hooray for Bass Pro and their support of RVers. While I didn't shop at the store today, it's this sort of thing that puts Bass Pro at the top of my list for camping gear or stuff I need for the RV. There was one person finishing up a transaction, and before it was even over, one of the two workers asked how he could help me. I also needed a water bottle cage with my valve caps. As I stepped to pay, he informed me that they were FREE!! I know it just a little piece of plastic, but it always feels good to get free stuff! I have always been treated well here, and I am glad it is right on the 6th St bike path, because it is on my way.

Not sure what bike repair etiquette is, but performing a service without asking the customer and then charging them for it seems pretty inappropriate to me, no matter the SOP. Matt, who was working at the time, was extremely helpful with all of the questions I had without sounding like he wanted to sell me everything on the back wall. I noticed that they had some bows on the counter that looked like they were having work done and found out that was also a service they offered, so I ended up dropping my bow off the next day to have some work done and some arrows built for a hunting trip. I believe the guys I spoke with were the owners of the shop, and I can't say enough good things about the way they treated me while I was there. I plan on coming here for everything gun/bow/outdoors in the future.
