I'm not sure who I spoke with when I went in yesterday, but she laughed for awhile over the phone when I told her I was having trouble finding the place. I found that kind of annoying. I went in with my 2 little ones because I'm not leaving them in the car, and she so blatantly did not want children there. It was very uncomfortable. I appreciated that they had a little play area - was not expecting that. But I didn't appreciate how she spoke to my children. They weren't doing anything wrong. They were curious where we were and liked the patterns but weren't misbehaving at all. My 3.5 year old was asking her questions about the samples she was putting together and she was so obviously annoyed by him. Sometimes, the "big box" stores just don't cut it. That's why you go to a place like this. The Wallpaper Market is a small place connected to a fabric store (Creative Home Fabrics), but they have an incredibly diverse selection of colors, textures, and qualities available. If you've got a few samples and/or some ideas, this place can turn your thoughts into the ideal look for your walls. They have so many books to look through, plan to spend hours here--you'll need that time looking for just the right color or pattern. Want fancy? Really fancy? They got it, maybe for a very reasonable price. They have lots plain stuff too, and everything in between. Service was friendly, patient, and informative, with a lot of attention paid to the details about buying wallpaper that we DIDN'T know before. This really saved us from making costly mistakes later on. We like this place. Never mind about "big box" hardware. Here, it's 100% wallpaper and wallpaper expertise. Go here instead. read more

LOVE the wallpaper market. One of my friends (a fabulous interior designer) got me hooked and I may never be the same. Dee and Donna are ridiculously knowledgeable and if you walk in with ANY kind of idea of what you want, "the wonder twins" will dial it in for you. We did our front room/living room and it's always a WOW followed by tons of compliments whenever anyone enters the house. All great quality papers...all at totally competitive prices. I usually don't give bad reviews. Saw great reviews so we went. Asked the lady if they had peel and stick. She said rudely, "that's not wallpaper, it's contact paper". I just drove over 40 minutes to be corrected in my terminology. I don't want something permanent. She could have really sold me on real wallpaper but her rudeness kicked me out the door. read more

This place is THE place to go if you're looking for the perfect wallpaper. Be prepared to spend HOURS searching for just the right wallpaper, which can be tiring, but the employees here were very helpful and accommodating. They allowed me to take home a few books to color match. I looked at another wallpaper store that some would considered upscale but wasn't impressed and did not find what I wanted. In desperate need of cool wallpaper and exhausted by the chintzy options at Lowes, Home Depot and the Walmart and Targets of the world... I hit yelp to find a place worthy of traveling off the beaten path. As always, I wasn't disappointed. This is the type of place where you could easily spend the day, thumbing through books of special order options or, as was the case with me, diving head in to shelves and bins of in stock inventory. Loved their options and the fact that they had enough of what was in stock to do something with. As added bonuses, the women running the store were friendly, engaging, and all had very unique personality types. Being pregnant with twins, we had some colorful conversation about motherhood, Beyoncé and Jay Z, and I even got some interesting name suggestions lol. Additionally, they even have a fabric store attached with endless hidden rows of everything you can imagine to spark your creative fancy.
