Trish also helpfully followed up with an email listing some recommended yoga stretches good for sore backs. The rooms are pleasant and clean, and the whole atmosphere is soothing. I've seen a few therapists there and they've all been great, some better than others but that really comes down to personal preference. I prefer really deep massages and, in the past, have had a hard time finding a therapist who can consistently maintain the pressure I prefer. Then I found Mike. He is by far, hands down the BEST therapist I've ever been to. He shows me stretches to do at home, and uses different techniques to work the target area. Surprisingly, when I was undressed and lied on the bed, she told me she will use baby powder as a media (not oil!) Because of my friend's highly recommendation I think she is with a 'unique' way to do a good massage. The charge is $75 instead stating the website for first visit of $59.99, very disappointing of the tapping service and the cost. I told her I was never put baby powder for massage before. Just a month ago I went to Spastation at Sherwood park with my friend they put oil for the message, where they provide professional service and I was treated gracefully even I used Groupon but this time I pay cash!! Walking in you feel like you are walking into a spa. A small business but well laid out with 5 nice sized rooms. The beds are all heated so even in the middle of winter you won't feel like you are laying down on a cold blanket. The massage therapist I booked - Amita - was amazing. She was checking to ensure the pressure she was using was good because I was quite injured.... My daughter didn't notice anything because apparently she ended up so relaxed despite her injury she feel asleep during her massage! I guess that's a sign the pressure is fine! Near the end Amita uses an amazing cooling massage oil. While she doesn't do pressure sales at all the oil is for sale in the clinic which I appreciate. After she gave me the opportunity to book straight away with her or to leave it and book at later time use her online booking system (which is how I had initially booked).
