We went a 2 hour llama hike with Sandy & her llamas and it was so fun! The llamas are all very sweet and everyone gets their own llama to lead. There were plenty of opportunities for photos and time to pet & hang out with the llamas. A very unique trip we won't forget.

We had a wonderful walk in the woods w/the sweetest llamas in the most beautiful setting! From booking on the process was made smooth w/the great communication of Sandy. Sandy even took pictures for us so we could just enjoy the time w/the llamas. 100% worth it and plan to go back anytime I'm anywhere near the area (we drove 3 hours out of our planned path to do this and it was worth that extra drive). Just book it! Thanks Sandy!

My family of four went glamping and hiking with the llamas at The Wandering Llamas. The glamping tent was comfy and adorable! We brought a second tent for our two teens. The 2 hour hike was beautiful in the Cherokee National Forest. There were ten people in our group all together and everyone had a llama. The baby llama was adorable, and the other llamas were unique and beautiful with names and personalities to match. It was bucket list good!

This was a great family experience! We tried out the glamping tent the night before our hike. We really enjoyed the fire pit. The tent is well appointed with everything you need; so cozy and comfortable. The hike had beautiful views and Sandy is an excellent guide! The llamas are super sweet and we are already planning to return in the fall.

The Sinks is a lovely waterfall along the river. There is a small parking lot with about a dozen spaces where we found parking. An observation area is a short walk from parking. A sign describes the area and that the falls were manmade. During the late 1800's the river was used to transport logs/timber to the nearby town of Elkmont. After a storm, flood waters caused a jam in the river. Dynamite was used to restore water flow. The blast resulted in a twist in the river and creation of the waterfall. A set of stone steps leads up a hill, offering lovey views of the falls. There are dozens of waterfalls in the Park. Sinks is one of the few that is drivable, which is great for people that cannot hike. I picked up a Waterfalls map at the visitor center that I found interesting and informative. Parking passes are required to park in the lot. There are no amenities at the falls. Plan 15-30 minutes for a stop and photos.

It's super busy in the summer, so just be prepared for that. We had to wait about 15 minutes for someone to leave so we could park. That wouldn't keep us from going back, though.
