We have been driving for days and needed to freshen up…read more The car wash is conveniently located and has facilities large enough to pull a truck and fifth wheel through. My only complaint is they should have brushes and sprayer on both sides. In order to wash both sides of our fifth wheel we had to pull in, wash and pull out turn around and pull back in to get the other side. Aside from that their prices were fair and facilities were clean enough.

To say we were extremely concerned would be an understatement. My daughter immediately took her phone and searched for an auto repair business. K&K Auto Repair was listed as the only garage still open (it was 5:35 pm on a Friday) for the day. We limped into K&K, parked our Mercedes GL450, and entered the establishment. The receptionist greeted us with kindness and warmth. We explained our situation, and she alerted the mechanic. The mechanic, displaying the same type of courtesy and professionalism, took our car to the garage for a diagnostic test as we eagerly waited for the results. Twenty minutes later, the mechanic stepped into the waiting area and said, "I have good news and bad news. The good news is that your transmission is fine. The bad news is that your lower fuel pump is done, and I will have to order a new one." Sadly, we had to leave the car at K&K for the repairs, and my father-in-law drove from two hours away to pick us up. The following Thursday, K&K contacted us and said the necessary repairs had been made and the vehicle was ready to be picked up. The next day, my father-in-law dropped us off at K&K, we paid a fair price, and began our journey back to Virginia. Our car ran like a new car all the way home. My husband called Fast and Furious Detailing and made an appointment. A nice woman showed up at my house at 9:00 am to pick up my vehicle and said it would be done around 1:00 pm and she would drop it off. At 12:50 PM a gentleman from the shop called to let me know my car was done and to arrange payment over the phone. Perfect. The same woman brought back my Jeep at 1:00 on the dot and gave me my receipt. Upon inspection of the work all looks great! I wasn't expecting perfection as I knew there were some bad stains in the back (mocha latte spilled down the side of the back seat). But honesty it is 99.9% better and that is what I was hoping for. The cloth seats are still a bit damp and I rolled the windows down some to allow them to dry quicker. Car came back with a plastic cover on the drivers side seat and a floor mat cover too. Will return again. Probably going to budget a detailing twice a year. At $180 it wasn't cheap but it is money well spent to have a clean car again!

The original quote they gave me was approximately $60 less than what the insurance company had estimated. Then during the repair process, I get notified by my insurance company that they paid an extra amount of money to Hillcrest Auto. I had to call Hillcrest to find out what was going on. They explained there was more damage than they thought. Ok, the insurance paid them. No problem, but when were they going to call and let me know? Then upon picking up my vehicle, the amount I owed to them was what the insurance company had estimated, not what they had quoted me. When I questioned the $60 difference, they couldn't explain it. I looked at my vehicle and I left. Then I went to use the hatch and it didn't function properly. So I called, it was the week of Christmas and I was told someone would call me the following week. NO ONE did. I waited and then I decided to go into their shop in person. I was told that they contacted the insurance company and were waiting on a reply. He then came out to look at what the issue was I was calling about. The hatch wouldn't stay up and it had almost hit my 3 yr old grandson. He had no concern. Then a few days later I get notified by the insurance company that they won't cover the issue, I didn't expect them to, as it was an issued that occurred from the repairman taking things apart. Yet Hillcrest denies removing the part that was in question. I have since repaired the issue myself and I have done research. Every body shop I have spoken to has stated that they don't know how Hillcrest can say they didn't remove the piece for the repair that was needed to be done. Yet because Hillcrest told the insurance company they didn't remove the part, it is their word against mine. Hillcrest won't accept responsibility and I can't prove it. So I can honestly say that if anyone I know says they are going to go to Hillcrest Auto, I will advise them not to. They have never called to tell me anything , they let the insurance company. They have no customer service skills when it comes to informing the customer.

Lunch is yummy with a wide variety of options from sandwiches and soups, chicken strips, and my personal favorite... Crawfish Etouffee every Friday! It is soooooo very good. I dropped the vehicle off at 8:00 a.m. and was told the assessment would take only a few hours. However, I did not receive any communication throughout the day. When I called at approximately 4:30 p.m. for an update, the staff member I spoke with was unprofessional and dismissive. I simply wanted to know what had been diagnosed, the estimated cost, and whether the tailgate latch repair had been completed. At that point, I was informed that the tailgate latch had not been repaired and that the shop had identified nearly $8,000 in additional issues. I advised them not to schedule or proceed with any repairs and stated I would come in the following morning to discuss the findings. I arrived at 8:00 a.m. the next day and explained that I intended to seek a second opinion. The same staff member remained unprofessional and then stated that someone from my crew had accessed the truck overnight and tampered with the tailgate. This claim is completely false. My crew and I were over 100 miles away and did not return until that morning. When I inspected the truck, I found that multiple wires had been cut and an additional bracket had been broken on the tailgate--damage that was not present when I dropped the vehicle off. As a result, the cost to repair the tailgate increased by an additional $500-$600. When I asked whether the vehicle had been vandalized on their property, I did not receive a clear or appropriate response. I requested the return of my truck and informed them that I would be taking it elsewhere for another evaluation. I was only given the manager's phone number, and despite waiting all day, I have yet to receive a return call. Given the circumstances, I believe a police report for vandalism occurring on their property should have been considered. The lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism throughout this experience has been unacceptable. Note: This platform requires a star rating, but if it were up to me, I would not give any stars.
