I am extremely disappointed with the assessment and overall handling of my vehicle. I brought my truck in to have the tailgate latch repaired and to run an engine diagnostic. I dropped the vehicle off at 8:00 a.m. and was told the assessment would take only a few hours. However, I did not receive any communication throughout the day. When I called at approximately 4:30 p.m. for an update, the staff member I spoke with was unprofessional and dismissive. I simply wanted to know what had been diagnosed, the estimated cost, and whether the tailgate latch repair had been completed. At that point, I was informed that the tailgate latch had not been repaired and that the shop had identified nearly $8,000 in additional issues. I advised them not to schedule or proceed with any repairs and stated I would come in the following morning to discuss the findings. I arrived at 8:00 a.m. the next day and explained that I intended to seek a second opinion. The same staff member remained unprofessional and then stated that someone from my crew had accessed the truck overnight and tampered with the tailgate. This claim is completely false. My crew and I were over 100 miles away and did not return until that morning. When I inspected the truck, I found that multiple wires had been cut and an additional bracket had been broken on the tailgate--damage that was not present when I dropped the vehicle off. As a result, the cost to repair the tailgate increased by an additional $500-$600. When I asked whether the vehicle had been vandalized on their property, I did not receive a clear or appropriate response. I requested the return of my truck and informed them that I would be taking it elsewhere for another evaluation. I was only given the manager's phone number, and despite waiting all day, I have yet to receive a return call. Given the circumstances, I believe a police report for vandalism occurring on their property should have been considered. The lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism throughout this experience has been unacceptable. My experience with this dealership has been an absolute nightmare. I brought my Dodge in 7 months ago to replace a water pump, which cost me $1,100. Unbelievably, it took them seven months to complete this repair. Just recently, the same water pump failed again, leaving me stranded in another city. I had to pay out-of-pocket for a tow to the nearest Dodge dealership. That second dealership confirmed it was indeed the water pump and serpentine belt that were the only issues, and while they acknowledged it was warranty work, they explicitly stated they "did not want to" perform it. I then had to limp my truck back to this Gillette dealership. They spent another month "waiting on parts" for the water pump - which makes me highly suspect they weren't installing a new unit in the first place, but rather a refurbished one. I even had to call them to remind them about my vehicle, as it seemed they had forgotten about it entirely. After my call, it still took them another week and a half to "finish" the job. To add insult to injury, they found a way to charge me, claiming I had a "cracked hose" - an issue that the other Dodge dealership, who thoroughly inspected my truck, did not find. This feels like a clear attempt to bill for unnecessary repairs during warranty work. Seven months for an initial water pump replacement, followed by a breakdown, a second multi-week repair, and questionable charges for alleged issues makes this the worst dealership experience I've ever had. Their inefficiency, lack of communication, and questionable practices are unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone to look elsewhere for their vehicle service. THIS IS THE REASON EVERYONE SAYS NOT TO BUY VEHICLES LOCALLY! I did reach out to Mona she let me know there is nothing that they are going to do to assist me. She suggested I reach out to Stellantis. She had apparently spoke with the general manager who also said that there will be nothing they will do to assist me. read more

I would never recommend this service department to anyone wanting to have their vehicle fixed. Everyone from Mel to Mona to their area manager Luke have no interest in serving their customer. They can't provide answers to problems, they are inept, rude and can't have a knowledgeable conversation about diagnosing or fixing a vehicle. They should realize people only bring vehicles here if they're under warranty because as a customer our hands are tied by procedure. Under no circumstances would anyone bring a vehicle here for service or repair because they are seeking good mechanics. I hope they all lose their jobs and the service department is shut down. If I could give zero stars I would, this company(White Energy Motors) flat out lies to their customers and actively looks to screw people over.Recently they had an event where my wife won a prize of 10k on their drawing, she had all the matching icons, registered previous of the event, and filled out all proper paperwork including receiving a animal that matched what she won, we then drive the 2 hrs to the shop and they say that the icons don't matter and that we have to read the fine print in the sheets and that is says it somewhere in there. They then saw we need to the scan our barcode to find out and say our actual prize is $5. I wouldn't recommend these scam artists even to my worst enemy, they wasted my time, fuel and money. I went to look at a car that was apparently for sale across the street @ Whites Frontier motors. No problem the salesman told me we are the same company I will go and get it for you. Alas it is out on a test drive with 2 appointments waiting to see it. I said no problem call me if it doesn't sell. I never heard back so I called Frontier the next day and was told they have nothing to do with Energy motors and the car in question hadn't moved all weekend. While they were already at rock bottom price, they sweetened the deal by having it trailered and delivered to me in Montana! Who does that? These guys do!!! My experience with my salesman, Lance Heisler, was BEYOND FANTASTIC!!!! He was always honest with me, answered my many questions quickly and directly without trying to sidestep around an answer, always shot 100% straight with me about everything. He was a joy to work with and purchase a vehicle from. I never felt jerked around or uncomfortable about the deal at all. I've never even met the man in person, but he was always right there in my corner, working to make me feel comfortable and answer any question I may have. The worst auto dealer I have ever dealt with. Saw a van advertised online, sent them an e-mail requesting the price of the vehicle, would not tell me the price without me driving 100 miles to Gillette to see it in person. Called and talked to a salesperson, asked him what the price was on the van, he gave me a run around about having to go ask the manager. The van has been on their lot for close to 60 days and the salesperson has no idea what the price is??? Does the price change depending on the customer? Do they adjust the price according to how well dressed or affluent the customer appears?? Why do car dealers have to play these silly games? I would not buy a vehicle from them and would not recommend them to any other potential customers. Their technician didn't fasten sway bar on my front right wheel. I drove to the Firestone in Sheridan and they found loose bar when they installed ball joints. I was traveling home with 4 of my grandchildren from vacation and was still 900 miles from home. White's told me I should make it home okay, but to have someone look at it. If I hadn't driven so slow to get to the Sheridan Firestone, my family could have been injured or killed when my tire came off doing the 80 mph speed limit. read more

I live in a neighboring state, so began the experience with an on-line inquiry. The internet representative was very helpful and after exchanging many emails and texts I decided that it would be worth my time to drive to the dealership. At the dealership I was paired with Ashley. She was very knowledgeable about the car and all of its features. After a conversation and test drive we began the purchasing process. The work I had done before coming to Gillette sped up this process and we quickly reached a deal. I wanted some additional items added to the vehicle and White's agreed to bring the car to me in SD once everything was completed. I loved dealing with White's and the entire staff! Wow! Ok, so years ago my hubby bought a vehicle from them. Recently we received a hand written letter from them stating that many ppl were looking for the specific vehicle we had knowing what great care we took with it, and they'd like us to come in and talk about trading in. My husband went thinking he would make some staggering demands just to see how badly they actually wanted it. Our salesman Pat Gil (remember that name!!) met every single one. We ended up with a luxury class vehicle with lower payments then our old one and a very generous trade in value on our old one. Pat Gil made it the easiest process ever. We've had our new vehicle for several months now and Pat randomly called just to make sure we're still happy with the purchase and to make sure there wasn't anything he could do for us. He wasn't looking to make another sale, etc. He's just a rare sales GEM. If you go, demand to work with Pat Gil bc he will make the experience an extremely painless and even pleasant one!
