This is my second visit here and I will never, ever be back. Here is why.
So I had one load that I needed bleach for. My other two loads of laundry I had no problems with. I added the bleach to the washer, added my clothes and my wash pods. The machine took my money and would not run because the door would not close. I tried SEVERAL TIMES to shut the door properly. It was better for me to stay with THIS washer since I already added my bleach and did not have any more. Well, after several tries with no one around to help, I decided to transfer the clothes to another washer, losing my bleach. The other washer worked fine because I know how to run a washer. I also PAID to use this second washer, obviously. Another thing I tried to purchase was a bleach kit, but none came out. Great. So now I need refunds for two items.
I looked on Google for a number to call. It says on the door, "Need Assistance Call Store Manager" but does not provide a number. DUH. So I looked on Google and tried a 252 number they had listed. No answer. As always. Because no one EVER answers the phone anymore. They did have a link to send a message though, so I used that. I sent them a message telling them that I needed a refund and why.
THEN, after all this, a lady shows up, out of nowhere, who works there. I asked her if there was a way to let someone know that I sent them a message since my whole story was already in the message. She asked if there was anything she could do the help and I simply said, "I need a refund.". She asked WHY I needed a refund. (Um - It's in the message if someone will READ it.). I said I could not get the washer door to close (Washer 28) so it ate my money and would not run. Well, lo and behold, she got it to run. I told her, "Well, I still need a refund because I used another washer.".
Then she showed me a telephone number by the kiosks where you load your card - not at all at eye level. A better place for this number would be ON THE DOOR under the sign that said, " Need Assistance? Call Store Manager." I said, "Well I did not see that.". I did not want to call right then either, I wanted to get my laundry done, but for whatever reason, the attendant called the number telling them about the problem. She called, not me. She said she would try to fix it. Okay, that's fine.
Then she wanted me to take her phone and talk to this lady who turned out to be a first-class certified b**** by definition. I am not just saying this, folks, she really was/is. I told the story AGAIN wondering why no one at this point had read my message. This absolute Karen is trying to tell me how to use a washing machine. Um, lady, I am not an idiot. I know how to use a washing machine and I am NOT A LIAR. I really did lose money. Why would I lie about something like that? And it did not matter at this point because the fact is that I lost money on one machine and spent more money on another machine getting that load of clothes clean. So the reason that I lost the money did not matter.
If this stupid lady on the phone would have just listened to me she would have understood this. So we get to the part where I am almost done, this lady after calling ME rude and saying I was not listening, was telling me how to get my refund. The attendant, who mind you, made the call in the first place, demanded to have her phone back because her daughter called her. I said, "Do you want to use MY PHONE to call your daughter? Is it really that important?". Karen on the other line demanded that I give the attendant her phone back. Okay, fine. Called the 715 number back. Got voicemail. I told the attendant, " Thanks a lot!".
I tried the call again and got Karen again. I said to her, "This is a Wisconsin number. No wonder you don't know how to act, you're not from the South where we know how to act." She got REAL mad then. She threatened to trespass me from the store. I just told her what I really thought of her and hung up.
When I got done with my laundry, which BTW the dryers were not the best today - I tried to call back and ask for a refund off my wash house card. Since Karen had threatened to trespass me It seemed like a good idea. She refused. So let me get this straight - you don't want me back, BUT you are going to keep my money? How does that work?
So anyone wanting to go to the wash house, you better make sure you DO NOT use a washer that is broken and DO NOT get in a place where you need a refund. You will not get it. Note that the washer was marked OOO AFTER I reported it, so I was not making any of this up. If anything I did them a favor. I guess that's 9.45 I will never see again. Hopefully after reading this review they will lose money. They deserve to lose money after how I was treated - like a liar and an idiot - of which I am neither. read more
