Upon picking the jackets up, I WAS NOT INFORMED THAT THEY WERE DAMAGED. I got home removed them from the plastic and this is what I saw. I then went back to the store the day after picking them up and asked why I wasn't told they were damaged when I picked them up. I was told that I was informed, but really all I was told was to be careful cleaning the older jacket as the more it's cleaned the more it would be prone to damage. The 2nd jacket that was damaged had only been worn once. They insisted that the jacket was old even though it was not. They took no responsibility for sending me home with damaged items and no responsibility for not informing me when I picked up my items. I requested a refund for both the damaged jackets. This was my first time even going to this dry cleaner. The only reason I trusted them was because they told me they normally clean down jackets without issues. After returning the damaged jackets to the store, I waited an extra 2 days for the manager to "assess" the damage. Neither jacket can be worn due to the damage. They did not offer to fix them and I was told that there would not be a refund for either of them because I knew there was a risk of them being damaged. Horrible service, lack of sympathy and honestly just cruel. The majority of money I spent was on these two jackets that I now cannot even wear. I will absolutely NOT be returning. Horrible experience for the first time trying a business. The same lady that failed to inform me of the damage upon pickup was the person that told me I wouldn't be refunded. Now I'm just out of the money I paid and the two jackets. The fact they would even send me home with items without telling me they were damaged is beyond me.

Through a series of unfortunate events out of my control, I found myself with a new suit that hadn't even been fitted yet. Several other tailors had fallen through, (including the one I originally purchased the suit from). Most wanted two weeks or more to tailor the suit, but in a stroke of luck Nice & Neat was recommended to me. Out of options, I took a long shot on a tailor I knew nothing about. I walked away very impressed. Unfazed by the extreme time constraint, I received outstanding service with a smile from Sokhara. What a sweet lady! She was knowledgeable and offered recommendations on style and fit according to the latest trends. I pride myself on staying well educated on how to perfectly tailor a suit, so I was very pleased that Sokhara also keeps herself well educated in the freshest styles. I knew what I wanted, and most of the time we agreed on the cut, fit and so on. However, she wasn't afraid to politely disagree on certain details. I appreciate her honesty as well as her willingness to listen. Ultimately, she will give the customer what they want, but her opinion is one that should be considered and trusted. Truly an expert. This story has a happy ending too. My suit was finished the next day as promised. There is still a little work to do on the suit, as I decided to limit the number of alterations. Sorry Newburgh that I keep referencing your city as ghetto but let's keep it real, it is ghetto! LOL! This laundromat was immaculately clean and beautiful! I had done laundry at other locations in New Windsor and while other places were decent, this place is insanely clean and well maintained. It's just SO out of place being in Newburgh. I've always had laundry facilities at home until recently so I'm not entirely sure if what I paid to clean my panties...I mean underwear (don't judge me; LOL) was expensive. But for what I paid I feel like my clothes came out really clean and the dryers dried as I expected despite the quarter only giving me 6-7 minutes. I really didn't pay attention to how much time each quarter gave me I just put enough for an hour dry time. If others in this area thinks this place might be expensive I hope the owner keeps it that way because this facility is worth the price of admission. I said hello to the attendant as I deposited my money into the dryer. She replied with pleasant hello. I proceeded to sit on a near by bench when she saw my service animal. She proceeded to tell me that they have a no pet policy and that I would have to leave the laundromat. I informed her that my dog was not a pet but a service animal. She said it didn't matter if it was a service animal I would still have to wait outside while my clothes dried. I asked her to call the owner, she refused. I asked her to call the police so that they could explain the service animal law, she refused. I went outside to call the Town of Newburgh police and waited outside for the to arrive. While waiting a customer pointed out a sign that was posted, "No Pets unless it is a service dog with paperwork in hand." My clothes had dried and the attendant stated that I could not fold the there and that I would have to leave and fold them somewhere else. I took my clothes outside and waited until the officer arrived, approx. 9:00 p.m. stating the owner Angela Kinan has officially trespassed me from the laundromat . At approx. 9:21 P.M. the Supervisor arrived to try and explain to the attendant that what she was doing violated the law, however she was unwilling to comply with the ADA laws of New York and Supervisor gave me the blotter number .
