Both times the same staff was present and both times denied anything amiss. This staffer was aggressive and unpleasant about our inquiry to our missing items. The owner, Michael, is so kind and accommodating and always delivers on time -- actually early with my laundry, even if it wasn't super urgent to get the linens back quickly. They've gotten my clothes back to me in 24 hours or less every time so far, my shirts are nicely hung and wrapped, everything's sorted nicely, etc. Seems silly to gush about a laundromat but they really put in the extra effort. They do only take cash for wash and fold though, $1.25/lb.

Who knows what happened but the attendant said she didn't do it and offered plastic bags to him and I translated. They have all the things I need in a laundry mat and then some. Three change machines, a bank of candy vending machines, a bank of video games, massage chairs, pay internet kiosk, laundry supplies at the counter, a Dr. Pepper soda machine, heavy duty washers and dryers o'plenty and a gang load of wheeled baskets. The place is huge, clean, bright and cheery. Primary yellow and blue walls with these 8 ft long steel park benches that are painted the pinkest of pink and stationed in front of each TV. I love it. They offer fluff and fold service, too.

Terry was great…read more The hotel I was staying at did not have a laundry service but gave me Terry's card. Terry has a Laundry (and Drop-off) Service... so I dropped at the Laundromat that she subs some space from and she dropped off the cleaned clothes at my hotel front desk later that same day. Convenient and much cheaper than a hotel charges. She charges by the pound... most hotels charge by the piece and doing it her way is probably one-third to one-quarter the cost. Terry was done for the day by the time I called her (she services both Beacon and Wappingers Falls) but said she could be in as early as 6:30 or 7 the next morning to meet me and get my dirty laundry. I think (but I'm not sure) that if I had called her and just asked her to pick up the dirty clothes at the hotel she would have... and it would have been as easy as any hotel service but much cheaper. It didn't really matter all that much because the hotel (The Roundhouse) was only 50 yards away. (And her card says "drop-off", not "pick-up" so I'm not sure what the deal is but she's very nice so call her ask her!)
