I used to have my laundry done here all the time but it's no longer on my usual route. Today, I just needed to do one load of laundry on my way to being someplace else. When I saw the prices I almost walked out, but it was just one load so I decided to spend the extra few dollars bc I was already there. The machines don't take quarters so I tried using my credit card... I got an error message. I tried a second even more expensive machine. No luck. Imagine hating your customer base so much that you don't allow change or personal credit/debit cards, but you force them to buy a special card to use on your machines. I took my clothes out of the second washing machine and drove up the road. Was happy to see it was less expensive and takes cash. read more

Have dropped off my king comforters here twice now for laundering. Both times the staff has been very friendly and my comforters came out smelling great! It was a little pricey but I think it would be almost as much if I did it myself and I'd be spending my time there too. read more

This place won me over ,I have lived in New Paltz about 13 years and used another laundromat for over 12 but it's services declined. This laundromat , yet smaller is very clean, everything from the machines , bathroom and the floor was immaculate. The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. They offer air conditioning while staff is working, a television and free WiFi . I have had multiple surgeries and medical issues so drop and fold service can be very important also dry cleaning available. It is priced reasonably. best place ever!!!! brought a giant black garbage bag full of laundry, it fit into 3 washing machines for $3.75 each. small bottle of detergent cost $3 and was enough for our 3 loads and we had extra. dryers are huge and we fit 3 loads in 1 dryer and we could've fit more. very reasonably priced this place is great !! read more

a few years ago I dropped 4 shirts to have them dry cleaned. When I picked them up the 4 shirts were on hangers.......they only washed them and charged me like 7 dollars and change??? Really then the guy wouldn't even give me a discount. I screamed at him and walked out with the most expensive washed long sleeve dress shirts ever. Wrinkles and all. I worked in high end fashion so I really needed them dry cleaned that was enough for me. read more

The other comments on this place are old and no longer accurate. In 2017, this is the best laundromat in the New Paltz area. I drive from Stone Ridge to wash my clothes here every week. It's open 24/7 and it's never crowded. The machines are newish and the prices are good too. The place is always clean which is a big deal for me (no garbage on the floors or outside ever). read more

This is a great place. I've been taking my clothes/linens/bedding to them since they opened. I use both their drop off 'wash & fold' laundry service and dry cleaning service on a regular basis and I am always happy with what comes back. The owner and the staff are friendly, honest and take time to listen to and accommodate your specific requests. In the 10 years I've been using various laundry services in the area, I have never been more pleased. It is well worth the drive if you are outside of New Paltz. The facility is kept clean, well lit, and the hours make it easy for your schedule. The turn around time for the laundry service is fast and reliable - typically the next day. The dry cleaning prices are the best in town, and non-toxic!. They've dry-cleaned several antique hand-woven rugs that came back in great shape. Rained the first nite we camped and a bag of clothing got totally soaked. Drove in the next morning at 6am - thank goodness for 24 hr laundries! Lots of washers/dryers, and compared to Washington, DC prices...unbelievably cheap!! Laundromat extremely clean, lots of parking available in small shopping center, ATM inside, able to get quarters. I left my Kindle there, spent the day biking in Minnewaska St Park, and when I called at 4pm it was there and I could stop by anytime to pick it up. Really?? This *never* happens in DC! I have been going l to this laundromat since I moved to New Paltz 2 years ago. Lately I noticed the prices were increasing at a steady rate and service was getting worse. I went there once a week for 2 years. The other day, the bag I put my clothes in was taken. I asked the attendant for a bag and she told me it would cost me $1. That's a little pricey for a plastic bag that they giveaway in grocery stores. They are getting piggy and I want no part of it. I went to another laundromat this weekend in New Paltz and much to my surprise, they were a lot cheaper, had many more machines, and the attendant wasn't constantly trying to get a machine before the customer. I had a horrible here experience recently. After struggling through the front door (which opens outward) with a heavy double load of laundry in my arms, I set the basket down on the counter (there being no other obvious place to put it). The woman who works there immediately became verbally abusive, quickly escalating from sarcastic remarks to outright yelling at me for putting my basket of 'nasty-a*s dirty clothes' on the same counter where she was folding an order for a motel or something. I didn't stay to do my laundry and I will never go back there again. If you are a large institutional customer, you may be treated well there, but if you are just an ordinary mortal, don't count on it. read more
