UPDATE: After leaving the sheets, blankets and bath towels out on a bed overnight to air out the scent, the scent was still pretty strong this morning. So I don't see how they can advertise as using "free and clear" detergent. Doesn't that mean scent-free? Family medical issues have resulted in home chores, one of which was laundry, taking a back seat. So I was very happy to find a service that would take care of this task for me. I went with Wash Wizards based on the stellar reviews, the convenience of no-contact pick-up and drop-off, the free and clear detergent (aka scent-free), and the free cloth laundry bag that was supposed to come with the delivery of my first order that would then allow me to fill the bag with the items I wanted to have washed. I placed my order (bedding and bath rugs) on Friday for a Saturday pick-up. And since this was my first order, I placed my laundry in trash bags outside my front door. I just put everything in the bags. The order was picked up before noon and delivered today (Monday) before noon as well. Now, according to the website "Everything comes back to you folded and packaged in a cloth laundry bag that is provided free of charge." However, mine did not. Instead, everything came packaged in one large clear plastic bag that was knotted so tight that I had to use scissors to get the laundry out. In terms of quality of services, they did a great job folding the sheets, but there was a definite scent on the laundry. Also, I can only suppose that they washed everything (rather than separating by colors) in hot water because my pale pink sheets and floral sheets looked duller, and my slate blue sheets had clearly faded. Again, having not used a laundry service before, if I needed to separate the washing into separate bags, that would have been helpful to have included in the FAQ. And I guess I have been so used to washing in cold water that I didn't think of adding that to my order - so I'll take the blame for that - but perhaps updating the website order page to include that as an option to select, because when you are busy with other things that you need a laundry service, adding notes to your laundry is the last thing on your mind. Finally, the lack of a laundry bag bugged me, especially since the website specifically promised one as coming with the first order. read more

I am a patient at the City of Hope in Duarte (insert sad face here).  I will be here a long time and I don't do hospital gowns so I needed someone to handle my laundry for me. I called Brett who cheerfully and scheduled a pick-up. I don't have a washer or dryer but I'm pretty loyal to a laundromat near where I live, since contracting pneumonia tasks like a laundromat are a scary thought, that's when I came across The Wash Wizards, they have a website and an App! Their menu is so user friendly and the people are so incredibly nice. The owner gets back to you within 12 hours if on yelp and you ask your question past work hours, I'm sure it's right away if you ask during work hours. The night before you need it done you go to their website or App and put in your order if you live in Ventura or LA County. They offer dry cleaning as well as fluff and fold and if you need something specific done there's a place where you can put notes explaining the specifics of it. The next day they come pick up your laundry (free of charge!) between 8AM-6PM. Not kidding THE VERY NEXT day it's returned to you between those same hours and 1st time customers get a free laundry bag + 20% off!!! This service was an answer to my prayers and I'm so grateful to everyone that plays a part since they're all just as important. Don't even 2nd guess what you're going to do, contact them and you will be ANYTHING but disappointed. Thank you guys!!! As a new mom, this service is the best luxury! When I get really behind on laundry, I just load it all up and it gets picked up. Then NEXT day it's folded or hung and dropped back off. If I could, I would use this service exclusively but for now it's a lifesaver to get me back on track. read more

Can't say enough about how great this company is! Family owned. Tight, efficient and customer service that is amazing!! Great app. Pick up and delivery. Quality work and nice laundry bags too.
