Boycott this business NOW! THEY'RE SELLING DIRTY POLLUTED WATER! The place hasn't been open since 2019. They owe the community thousands of dollars for water deposit purchases. There's garbage all over the sidewalk. Permanent marker messages on the glass of angry customers demanding their deposit money back. Nobody answers the phone. No one is ever inside the store. There's a black tarp over the windows telling us they're trying to hide their business and what they're doing inside. There's homeless people all over the area using it as a public water source. read more

Sooooooo disappointed in this store. We love the water. We enjoyed going in to fill our water jugs, the guy was super friendly, my son loved to help clean the jugs out and push the cart. Then Covid hit. The store closed down and the customers could still fill from outside which we appreciated very much..... But it is now 33 months later, every other store on the planet has opened except this store. We had about $45 on the books when they closed down. At the very least you need to open up and refund your customers, we are pissed at this point. If you want to continue as a self service outdoor operation that's fine but give us our money back. read more

Problem: I get it to close down a business at the beginning of the Wuhan pandemic, error on the side of caution. Then businesses slowly opened up and to following CDC guidelines. However The Water Stop refuses to open despite all the neighboring businesses opening. Instead they are directing customers to stand in line to use the unclean, used by the homeless (another issue) outside water dispenser, hoping it will take my coins. To appease patrons, the The Water Stop posted a letter regarding their reasons why they will not open. The Water Stop has a sub-standard business model. Solution: Consider finding another water store such as, Wateropolis pure water store, 13465 Camino Canada El Cajon, CA 92021 next to Smart & Final. They just opened and have great tasting water, you can also bring your pet in the store! I have met Dave, the owner who is a very nice and accommodating. I was (un)lucky to have been able to come here just ONCE in Feb 2020. After opening an account with them for several hundred gallons of pre-purchased water, they closed for Covid. While the rest of the economy is back open, this place is still closed... read more

Terrible customer service. They have been closed for something like 3 years now. We all have money on our accounts with this store. They won't answer the phone. If one or more people goes up to the self service window with 5 or more jugs you can easily be standing there for at least 15 to 20 minutes or more depending on the line. I really need to find a healthier option for my water needs. We all need to find a healthier option. They'll be forced to close if we all just stopped using the self service window. Unfortunately there's no law that states this store has to physically open its doors and that's why this continues to do this. I've already checked. Class action lawsuit is the only possible answer at this point. read more

They are making no effort to safely open and don't take calls or make any reasonable effort to inform their clients of their current status. they closed due to c-19 over two yrs ago, they will not return calls. they have all their customers money that was pre-paid for water still in their account(s) 200-300 customers at say 20.00 on the books each adds up. i have at least 150 gallons on the books at .30 per. why have they not responed or re-opened? the one guy that does maintence to there outside veding machine just says sorry can't help you and walks off...yet he gets paid. we want what is right for your customers. next will be news station for trouble shooting, hope you like that on the news. give us our money back or close your doors. read more

Yes, the water is better than other vending machines. So, when are you going to reopen so customers can access their accounts? Also, yesterday, lost about a dollar in coin finding out the coin part of the machine didn't work. Tried a $1.00 bill - that worked - got a gallon, inserted change - again - for another gallon - nothing. Tried to notify the store but, was unable to leave a message. read more

Currently they've been close since March 26, 2020 and people have money on their accounts while the owners are not honoring that money that's on their account. Apparently the outside water dispenser is now not working and taking people's money illegally. Why are they not open? Other water stations or businesses are actually open apparently and they are not? Unfortunately this establishment has a poor idea on how to treat people, let alone the customers. Instead of addressing customers who don't pay for the water, the cashier is posted right when you walk in with a sign making you read it, "PAY BEFORE FILLING WATER", while you have your hands full with the water jugs. Pressuring you to not even leave the jugs under water dispenser until paying for the water. Then go off to insult your kids, when you try to have a civil conversation about the matter. Total disregard to what you have to say, by interrupting you with a "refund". Totally showing that they don't care. Have never been more insulted and made to feel like a criminal, especially as a long paying customer. read more

What a pleasant atmosphere. They are very helpful and the water is great. I do the 100 gallon deal like the other reviewer. They sell everything you need to drink bottled water at home. When the business is closed there is a bottle fill outside. By the way, just like every other store in town, you have to pay before you fill the bottle. read more

I have been using The Water Stop since it opened way back. I have always had nothing but friendly service. I am not sure how many times it may have changed hands, but the folks there are always nice and willing to help if you need it. Great place, great prices. Get the prepaid plan and save a bunch of money. And not only do we use the water, my 80 gal fish tank gets 15-20 gallons of their water a week. PH is dead on for your fish tank. read more
