Been a customer for years and noticed that they doing worse and worse job every time I asked them to modify my web site .Had another company check on them and performance of my web site have many errors and broken links. Tried to move to new SEO company and provider. Roger - the owner initially promised to let me get all the log ins credentials then lied to me and gave me wrong ID and passwords. When I asked to correct it - he send me an e-mail - can this wait till Tuesday - I have a Indianapolis Race this weekend. He never send me those log ins and tried to force me to stay with them and keep paying monthly fees. Today he cut off my both web sites and is no longer working. This review hopefully will be a big warning for all of you that using their service. I will be updating this review as this situation will progress. This just happened few minutes ago and each day without my web site running creates financial losses for my company which only one company will be held responsible - The Web Guys My advise - don't let them have control of hosting and always require Web Site Administration log ins when you paying for web site . I spent easy $15 000 on both web sites and thousands of dollars in monthly fees for years and it is my property just to find out that my both web sites simply vanished today. Update: After my review on Facebook both web sites are up but no access to my web site has been provided. Roger is giving me passwords to My Twitter account and google that I didn't asked for and playing that this should solve my problem. I am keep asking for administration log ins to my web site since May 25th without any success. Chad Smith turned my main web site up but disconnected SSL so nobody could enter it. Later on they turned it off again and Chad Smith was keep telling me that he is able to see my website. This is what kind of dirty games" you can expect from those scammers. They do not work on your SEO codes - they do job once and do not maintain it. They got this "sugar talk" and sound professional on the phone - this is the only weapon they have to make you think - that they are the best. Update. My lawyer has to be involved in whole issue and finally I was able to switch. Of course they still played games with me and make my web site not working during that switch. It cost me a lot of stress and I think this is "Gangster Style" treatment. Now I noticed that The Web Guys trying to hide reviews on Facebook by adding OUR REVIEWS on front page with Fake Customer Lobby Reviews that is paid review service. They are bunch of scammers. Did you notice also that The Web Guys have no Google Reviews? Because they can not control it - that's why. Dear Roger, thank you for you response. I stand by my review and most of the comments you put on it is just simply a lie. I have proof of you doing completely nothing and charging me for maintaining my web site for $560 a month for years. You trying to sound professional and nice but in my eyes you are just another "Shady" Salesman that nobody should trust. All of the better rated reviews were posted right after my bad review and dated most of them the same day or month or from fake accounts. Your Customer Lobby reviews that you offered me to pay for and I declined - tells whole story about your business ethics. Even on the link you provided in this answer - also shows Customer Lobby reviews for your company with nothing but 5 star reviews - really ? You that good? Where is my 1 star review that I submitted to them ? it is paid service that you The Web Guys provide to your customers and charge for 5 stars reviews which are completely fake and fraud. I have e-mails from Chad Frazier offering me that service which you guys charge extra and share profit with Customer Lobby Reviews. Other people who wrote the reviews on other web sites and customer lobby are paid or did not notice that you charging them monthly fees for nothing. They also did not tried to switch to other web masters so they don't know how hard it will be. I am sure that in those situations - you would have avalanche of bad reviews. read more
