My insurance carrier declined to continue coverage due to this condition. I contacted Assurance Roofing regarding the issue, but the problem was not corrected. During this process, I verified through state licensing records that Assurance Roofing did not hold an active contractor license. Independent inspectors and my insurance provider confirmed the same issue: improper drainage resulting in water pooling on the roof. I explained that we were getting a few estimates but I'd let him know either way. Darin's bid was the least expensive by $10,000....all of this without skipping on quality. A large section of one fascia needed replacing (I brought this to his attention before he even looked ant the roof for the estimate) and asked if he could replace it. He quickly obliged and charged a more than fair price. Darin also pointed out a few necessary repairs but these are things his company does not do...he just wanted To let her know. My mom has already gotten compliments on the roof. Lastly I want to mention how kind Darin was to my mom. She is hearing impaired and uses a transcriber. He showed lots of patience and treated her with the utmost respect.
