From the very first call, the experience was incredible. They arrived within 60 minutes and immediately took control of the situation. Because we couldn't be there in person, it meant everything that they were able to work independently in the home and communicate clearly throughout the process. They stopped the damage quickly and professionally, and gave us full peace of mind from hundreds of miles away. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this company. Thank you so much to Matt, Adam, and Senthil for stepping in during our time of need. Your responsiveness, care, and professionalism made a stressful situation so much easier to handle. Highly recommend RestoPros of Milwaukee!

Their team helped coordinate everything, including asbestos tile removal with a local company called Umbrella, who also did an exceptional job. Special thanks to Matt, Adam, Justin, and Senthil -- all of them were knowledgeable, respectful, and provided outstanding value. They took the time to explain the process, answered every question, and made sure everything was handled properly and safely. RestoPro truly came through for me during a time of need. If you're dealing with water damage or any mitigation work, this is absolutely the team you want on your side.

Our insurance is covering a Hotel for us for the time being while we take cover of this very, very, very serious situation. Currently, they are recommending us to use a Restoration & Repair company to fix our condo unit. The overall value and cost, our insurance is covering for us. When their worked was finished in just 1 week, it was right and it was correct and they promised things and they did exactly what they promised. Nothing else damaged, broke, etc. I strongly, strongly, strongly recommend that if you ever have water damage in your home, apartment, or condo unit, or any other building or place or non-home related building, please, give them a call and they will work stuff out the correct and right way with you. Thank you Marathon for your such hard work, high effort, and quality on-the-top service as you guys were very nice.

It is over 8 weeks since I had water damage in my basement and it is still not done. I had to fight with the insurance company and they finally agreed that there was more mitigation to be done. Marathon told me and according to the contract, that they would come every day. They didn't come one day. I called the owner and he told me that they weren't coming that day. When they came the following day, they claimed my phone was disconnected. They then said they had the wrong number. I called them that day to tell them that I would not be home until after 2:30 so they had to know it was not disconnected. They also told me that I told the owner that I would not be in the rest of the day. I asked about caller ID and they said their number was a 1-888 number and they didn't have caller ID. I find hard to believe. It was another day of wasted electricity. First they tell me that the carpet pad needed to be replaced. Later they told me that other companies would come in and tear the basement apart but that they don't do that. So all the other companies are doing it wrong. There were so many red flags with this company that I decided to hire another company for the rebuild. I am so glad I did. The companies told me that there needed to be further mitigation before they could do a rebuild. They told me that the carpet pad needed to be removed, baseboards detached and anti-microbial sprayed. They also found moisture readings of 29%. Two other companies also found high moisture readings. Marathon came to my house and I told him what the other company said and he called me and the other company a liars. He started yelling at me. He stormed out of my house and left. I called him on the phone and he yelled at me and hung up. The owner called and he told me that they were coming to my house and he demanded I have a check ready. They came and I did not answer the door. I contacted an attorney and he said that I have a right to look over the invoice before paying them. I found out from another contractor that I have 30 days from when I received the invoice. I had a company that said they would look over the invoice for me. I called for the invoice and was told that they would drop it off and that I had 30 days to pay. Later the owner calls and says that they are coming to my house to remove the board that had the high moisture level and I should have the check ready. He went on to say that there better not be any shady business. I was afraid so I called the police for harassment. He denied everything and told the policeman that I have 30 days to pay. He was also told not to have any contact with me for 30 days. He continues to call and harass me about having the check ready and that he was going to sue me. The bill was not even due for another 3 weeks. I called the police again and now he wants to work with my insurance. He wants to come and tear out my carpet and pad for free. I had already contracted the job to another company. My insurance company is denying my estimates from rebuild companies because they are for mitigation (what Marathon was suppose to do) and not rebuild. Finally after over 7 weeks the insurance adjuster agrees to meet with me and the contractor. He re-inspects the area and agrees that there is still water damage that still needed to be dealt with. He will not cover the damaged rug or closet door because it was damaged from Marathon. The closet door was just lying against the wall. Luckily the contractor saw it before it fell on someone. I did send this information to the local tv station and according to them Marathon did not deny any of this. He did deny yelling at me and did apologized for the mistakes they made on their end and that they would remove the carpet pad for free. He also claimed that I was refusing to pay the bill. It wasn't even due yet. I call Marathon to remove the carpet pad and now he is saying that he would only remove the carpet because the pad is glued down. He told me that they don't have the right equipment to remove the pad and would have to subcontract out. I was willing to have them contract it out but he wasn't. He also said that he would reimburse my contractor to remove the carpet. He told me the he would have taken out the pad in the beginning but the insurance adjuster would not allow it. The insurance adjuster told me that Marathon assured him that the carpet pad was good and did not have to be replaced. Marathon talked to the adjuster the day after they first came to the house. According to the contractors, the carpet pad should have been removed the first day. The contractor said that it just looks like they just put in fans, air purifiers, etc. They said they charged a lot of money. They did give me a 20% discount. I don't know if it will cover my expenses.
