Ok, so I'm not that hard to find when I go out. I'm either going to school on campus at Queens college, or i go to my favorite study spot/coffee shop. I've tried to find a good spot for so long and no dice. I tried white noise, didn't like how loud it was, tried butler, these people had attitude. As if coffee wasn't a reason to be nice, huh. After searching for the perfect spot to work, tan across the best coffee shop in all of flushing. First, the coffee, it is completely necessary to drink their oat draft, it is the best coffee you will ever have. It's nutty richness is so refreshing on a hot summer day. Literally I told my partner I've had so many things to eat from here and all of it is 10/10. My go to sandwiches are the avocado toast with smoked salmon. Sheeeshhhh!!! Second is definitely the prosciutto . Parents! (Cause i am soon to be one) they have a room for the kids!! So if you need to do some work and need a space for them to remain entertained. This is that place. Peter and his team are amazing. I was one of the first people to have their new menu, the açaí bowl a couple of weeks ago. The fruits were very fresh. I love love love açaí bowls on a normal basis so I'm usually particular about the ones I eat. But this one did not disappoint at all. This is our second time coming. The first time we came, I ordered the oat draft and I really like it. It was very refreshing with just the right amount of bubbles. Today I ordered a hot mocha and my husband ordered the oat milk latte. Both were very good. I like that the mocha is not very sweet. Some places they made it too sweet and you don't taste the coffee at all. They let you pick between medium roasted beans or dark roasted beans depending on your preference. We also tried their French toast. It was delicious with the right amount of condensed milk and peanut butter. The bread tasted very fresh too, crispy on the side and soft on the inside. Some of the execution is great, too: it's very clean/bright/airy and the playroom is very well stocked with preschool favorite toys. And it's not loud, a minor miracle for a place clearly aimed at young families. Staff is very friendly. Coffee is very good, with the prices you'd expect. Food is their Achilles' heel. My friend and I weren't sure which coffee to order and he offered us a sample. Customer service is nice as well. I ordered the hot oatmeal and was so yummy (priced at $6.5 I think).
