We waited a month for them to be manufactured, then a week to get on the schedule. When the installer came, two of the blinds had manufacturing defects, so new blinds and parts had to be ordered and the installer had to return. On the second attempt, one of the blinds is still defective. Thus, another round of ordering a new blind and getting the installer back. This is NOT what you expect when you pay a premium for custom blinds. The service has been great, but the quality of the blinds is questionable. I'm just hoping we don't have further issues if we ever get all the blinds installed and working.

We've had the blinds on our new window for a few months now, so I feel safe writing this review…read more This review covers Part 1 in the shop, and Part 2 at our house. After making the excursion out to Bainbridge, we walked inside, and as my wife laid out the gameplan to the salesperson, I set about messing with every blind and curtain in the showroom. I received The Look, but the salesperson laughed and started to demonstrate each of the blinds. We examined each blind, trying to imagine it in the new window, making sure nothing would obstruct our view. After an hour of operating, we weren't entirely sure, so we decided to schedule a home visit. Michelle came by with samples, swatches, and a demo of a blind style she was recommending. Being able to see it in action and check the colors against ours helped us choose the right one. She was incredibly helpful during the process. Eagle Harbor is pricy, but it's quality and customer service speak for themselves.

She was extremely knowledgeable; listened to my input and made sure that my window coverings were delivered on time. She kept me informed every step of the way. Sam - my installer- was also excellent. His attention to detail was amazing. I love my new window coverings. The price was competitive. But work with them for their excellent customer service. I recommend them highly and without reservation.

Due to the very high ceiling, many contractors refused to work as they found the job to be too complicated. However Aysel not just accepted that project, but came up with innovate solutions and showed great customer empathy while understanding our personalized needs of the project. I interacted with many companies before awarding the project and Aysel was class apart in her professionalism and creativity. Her contractor (Serhat) was also extremely professional, skillful and courteous and it was a great experience working with both of them. Aysel sourced the parts from Europe. In one of the parts, there were some mechanical issues, and Aysel promptly offered full refund. Overall, I am highly impressed with Aysel's customer service, professionalism and creativity and definitely recommend her to others for projects related to home improvements.

It is simply impossible to get a response from this business no matter how you try to reach out. While we had a few different quotes from other businesses we could have gone with, following Daniel's in-person visit we figured we'd give Seattle Custom Blinds. Big. Mistake. From then on things quickly went downhill. It took several months before our simple project was finally completed and nearly 100 emails until I finally had my blinds installed. And that's not to mention the several incorrectly placed orders that continuously delayed things. We gave them as much slack as humanly possible the entire time but they took advantage of that and every day that went by it seemed like they were actively trying to find new ways to waste my time. When it was all said and done, I ended up being the one having to install the smart integration myself since Seattle Custom Blinds apparently couldn't quite figure out how to order the necessary parts (I had paid for) from whoever their supplier was. Mind you... them offering that as part of the package was one of the reasons why I chose to give them the business. It has been a few months since we FINALLY got our blinds installed but I'm leaving this review now because the remote that came with them broke and I wanted to grab a new one so I have been trying to get in touch with them and what do you know? Zero response! Our blinds had a lot of minor issues following the installation and I honestly didn't even bother trying to get a response from Daniel since I am convinced they will never respond to former customer emails after our experience with them. Seriously... there are many other blind installers in our area. Most are very professional. The majority will carry the exact same product or better. They will likely not mess up your order 100 times for no apparent reason. And I guarantee they will all be more responsive and easy to work with. So do yourself a favor and go with any other option out there.
