This journey has been a complete LIFE CHANGER. I have to agree with the other reviewer about how she is "part organizer part therapist". Before, my husband and I were in transition going from 2 separate homes to 1, and life was messy and unmanageable...and our home reflected that. We had double or triple of things which were randomly placed. It was so overwhelming that it was a huge source of stress and most likely put a strain on our relationship. What happened? We hired Sherri not knowing how brilliant she was. Her personality is warm,compassionate, and totally non-judgemental. This is so important because messiness can come with shame. She was so supportive in OUR vision of our home, and taught us the skills, tools, and systems needed to organize. I also want to note she genuinely wanted to get to know us as a whole person, not just getting things organized. Now, yes, things can get easily get "messy" but we know exactly where things go and cleaning is quick and easy. No more stress anymore. Things in our home have a system tailored to our lifestyle. I can now organize on my own because I have the techniques I learned with Sherri. Her husband, John is fantastic too, and are glad we got a chance to work with him during our design renovations in our home. I can give you every reason / excuse as to why I hadn't been able to get my act together, but you already know. Christy was able to approach my situation in a way that was caring and fun. She wasn't just trying to help me "get rid" of stuff, but really had me look into why I felt the need to have X in the first place. We'd talk it through, come up with a solution, and act on it. Super cathartic. She'd give me realistic "homework" to do until next time, and of course, I'd make excuse why it wasn't done. No judgement! I looked forward to seeing her each time. Here's the thing. Would my life be better if she lived in my home and did it for me? Sure! And she can " just do it" for the client. But for me, her methods have bled over into every aspect of my life. She "taught" me how to take these methods into work, into a way of thinking when approaching just about everything. And time flies when you are with her. Her personality and optimism is contagious! And she can shift focus at a moment's notice. Don't want to tackle de-cluttering closet today? Really need assistance in digital filing ( organizing that crazy computer, bills, etc)? She can do that, too. Need more sessions with her for sure, but not bc she didn't succeed. But bc I want to continue to better my life and 46 years of habits can be tough to break. And face it, we can all benefit from continuing to grow and be our better selves.

The remodel replaced the floor with vinyl tile, replaced the tub surround tiles with vinyl sheets and replaced the vanity, counter mirror, tub, lights and all fixtures. The finished bathroom looks great with no issues. The fixtures, vanity and surfaces chosen by the Lux design crew look great. The installer did a great job, was very courteous and did the job with minimal disruption.

While Rydawell is good at cabinetry (they get 1 star for that), their foray into building out…read morecamper vans (i.e. Sprinter) has resulted in an extremely poor experience for me on the mechanical and quality elements. Not only did the build out take forever (7 months), but since picking up my van on my first/second use, I have had roof leaks because they didn't install the "C" gaskets right for the AC unit, I experienced multiple leaks in the pressurized plumbing system (see pictures below) which caused wood damage to the cabinetry due to poor PEX seals, I still have no relief from the misbehaving (and Rydawell recommended) Ecoflow electrical system, I discovered they failed to insulate the sliding door, they actually plumbed the gray water lines into the BOTTOM of the gray water tank using the same penetration point as the drain (this caused water to back up into the shower pan when using the sinks (not to mention it would fail completely in freezing weather) and I discovered that the Rixen heating system was installed against manufacturer recommendations (to name just some of the issues). This has caused me thousands of dollars to get repaired (so far) at another (competent) van builder. While his hourly rate may seem cheaper, it takes him much longer to accomplish work items. As an example, his quote to install a 2nd battery (which he was supposed to have left room for) was twice as long as I was able to get it done elsewhere by professional van builders.

Our project was split into multiple steps (because of us, not them) and they graciously planned around us and came back multiple times throughout the project. They even gave us the suggestion of starting the floors, and then coming back to finish them after we finished painting walls because of dust, debris, etc., to make sure we were happiest with the end result. When we had questions or any concerns, they were quick to call, give tips, and come back to assess or change something based on our preferences. They even gave us some of the product they used so we could match our baseboards and fill them the way they suggested. I would highly recommend them for any flooring project.

They are family-run business (Serhii, his brother and family members do all the work), Serhii is a great communicator and he responded to my detailed questions in writing very clearly while some other contractors don't care to spend that time/effort. Their pricing is also pretty fair. During the project they worked hard and kept the schedule as promised. During the process some unanticipated issues came up and they showed flexibility and willingness to change the scope of the project and schedule accordingly. They are detail oriented. After we had them reinstall all baseboards there was one place we were not quite happy, they came back and fixed it. The end result was beautiful and it had been a great experience working with Serhii and his family crew! Northwest Flooring is definitely at the top of my list for any of our future hardwood flooring needs!

Not only did they install a beautiful custom made railing on my interior stairs and the bridge that connects both sides of my upstairs, they also coordinated with their subcontractor, Prymych Home Services, to replace my carpeting with LVP flooring. City Bee ran both the railing and flooring projects so I had one quote, one contract and one project manager. Their price was very competitive, they did high quality work, and they finished in a timely manner. Oleksandr, the owner, project managed everything and made himself available all throughout the project. He was very responsive to all my questions and provided thorough answers so I could understand the technical aspects of the work. Her knowledge of design and her work ethic are incredible. I've mentioned many times that she reminds me of Joana Gaines from HGTVs fixer upper. Jen is the ultimate problem solver. The hallway to our bathrooms needed lighting and she was able to find an effective and chic fix right away. We had an old bench that my painters suggested throwing away before she stepped in to show them how to spray paint it and refurbish it without spending a lot of their time. She noticed a light fixture in front of the restaurant that I had never noticed and all it needed was a light bulb which transformed the entrance. She free hand painted a mural for us which was amazing. She was able to reorganize seating to allow for more space and more seats. Finally she was able to open up the space and brought in more natural light by choosing different colors/lighting. The space really transformed and we didn't have to do any heavy construction. We planned on doing the restaurant in 3 phases. So far we were able to complete the first phase which has had great feedback from our customers. The restaurant already looks new and I can't wait to see the entire project get finished.
