I always struggle when it comes to birthdays, Christmas and Father's Day gifts for my husband. He's one of those people who are hard to buy for. But I have one a fail safe I can always rely on - massage. I don't get it as a gift for each occasion but it's something I know he'll love and I try to make an experience out of it each time. Though, "the co-co" (COVID-19) makes it a little more challenging for a couple of reasons. (1) Although there are practices in place, not sure about smooshing your face into a face rest, where hundreds of others have and while I'd love to trust the cleaning habits of others... not sure I can. (2) he doesn't do well with a mask in tight spaces. Well, I'm driving around one day and out of the blue, I notice a car with an ad for mobile massage - BINGO! Both problems solved. (1) We know how clean our house and we can request they clean the equipment in front of us and (2) he doesn't have to wear a mask! Anyhoo, I schedule the appointment - it started with email but the owner suggested calling was easier and quicker. I called and they collected information and got me scheduled quickly for the day I wanted. They arrived on time, very through and even had a chair which is harder to come by. My husband loved his massage and now we're probably going to convert to 100% mobile so we can be more relaxed and take a little nap after!

They performed a few tests and then I met the acupuncturist to discuss my health issues in detail. I consider myself to be somewhat of a veteran when it comes to acupuncture and massage treatments. After the evaluation one of the staff stopped by (not Julee) to discuss the Acupuncture Care Plan. I have purchased acupuncture and massage packages by the past, so I was astonished to see the cost of the different plans that were presented. I'll stop with the comments since the practice has generally good reviews and Julee has helped others. Obviously, your mileage may vary based upon your health issues, but I was utterly floored to get estimates for a platinum plan for over $5k, a gold plan for $2k and a silver plan for $1.8k based upon the suggested treatment plan. That being said, I could get 10% off the packages if I paid in full. Be prepared for the cost of the treatment plans!
