I received assessment and "treatment" here for months. I'll address both. The assessment of my "nerve health" said I was actually in great shape. After feeling no improvement and turning to medical testing, I have since been diagnosed with nerve myotonia -- I literally have an incurable disease of the nervous system. Measurable nerve hyperexcitability. This was not even suspected in TWP's nerve assessment. As far as treatment, I'd recommend you do your homework on the use of an integrator before you behgin treatment here. they do not employ manual manipulation, none. Perhaps a dozen visits, the only thing touched by hand was my shoes, which I was instructed not to remove. They're also very stringent on multiple visits per week, which would've been fine had I felt any changes. I was told if I couldn't make up the number of visits per week because I could only make it two days a week because of work and childcare, I would have to be treated 3 days a week for more weeks if not months longer. The PT is unsupervised and uncoached. I did an excercise entirely wrong one day to see if anyone noticed. No one did. You monitor yourself. Really felt exploited in the end :( read more

I have received two massages from Tara in the past two months, and let me tell you, she has healing hands and really knows what she is doing. They are one block east of downtown La Grange. You wouldn't know from the outside of the building (Medical Clinic) that they are there. Tara knows a lot about nutrition as well which was very helpful. I will be a repeat for sure. read more

I've known Dr. Manzo for 7 years and we went to Chiropractic school together. There is no one that I know personally that is more passionate and committed to his health and helping others. Dr. Vic and his staff at The Wellness Path completely changed our lives for the better since becoming patients. As first time parents we sought out treatment for our very colicky 2.5 month old who wouldn't sleep, cried for hours everyday and couldn't be calmed. I was tired of being told by our pediatrician that she would grow out of it and it was "normal" for her to cry for prolonged hours. Before meeting Dr. Vic and going to Dimensional Family Wellness, I was almost to the point of giving up on my back pain, following the advice of others, and going under the knife to "fix" my problem. I started going to O'hare Crossfit June of 2012. The workouts are intense, and my body was just NOT used to all of the new things I was making it do. Needless to say, I hurt my back, to the point where it was immobilizing. Sitting, walking, laying down was an issue. That is when I decided to seek out Dr. Vic to avoid being cut open and making my problem worse with surgery. THAT, what the best decision I could have ever made. It did take a while for me to feel the results of my weekly visits, but after every visit, there was relief and that is exactly why I keep going back. Not only during every visit did I feel relief, Dr. Vic was great about explaining WHY patience is key with chiropractic, WHY my back was hurting, and WHAT he was doing to fix it. After my back pain lessened, my workouts and personal progress was, and still continues to be on the rise. I was really looking forward to coming to Dr. Vic on a regular basis. I had been to several chiropractors in the past and I liked his office set up, staff, organization, and technique. I came to Dr. Vic in extreme pain. Not only did it take until my third visit there for him to even adjust me in the area that was causing pain, he told me he couldn't let me be his patient as I wasn't able to come in three times a week. I'm a working mom entirely supporting three other humans and I just don't have the time or resources to have three adjustments a week. Rather than working with me to come up with a plan that would work for both, he flat out said "It's my way or the highway". I could not believe a doctor would turn away a (paying) patient who was in pain and seeking medical attention. It made me feel as though he was more interested in a bigger paycheck than my wellbeing, and that doesn't bode well for someone in the business of healthcare. Steer clear of this practice if you're looking for somebody who is actually interested in your wellbeing. read more

I'm a new patient of Dr Vic's. I came in a few weeks ago with a horrific pain in my lower back. Turns out I have a slipped disc. Dr Vic has been a great sense of relief...both with dealing with my pain through adjustments and also his advice. I will continue with care beyond healing my current condition. Overall great staff besides for the doctor. i'll talk about the pros first: Mike the office manager and Jeann my massage therapist made me feel totally at home. Everything was so easy to scheduling my appointment, to walking me through the office. Both staff members are extremely knowledgeable and its obvious they truly care about you getting better. Jeann was more than a massage therapist as she'd explain to me why I had all of the pains that I did, and other ways I can help relieve them. Mike was so much more than a front desk face, he was extremely knowledgeable and considerate, not just a salesman. This brings me to the doctor and other cons: I arrive a little bit early for my massage and while waiting, the doctor didn't realize I was there and I experienced nothing but the doctor being loud and childish with one of his patients, and the next patient he tried to rush out to get back to his first. He clearly plays favorites to his likely friends. How am I supposed to relax for a massage with people in this tiny little office screaming?I continued to hear him throughout the massage. Once I finished my massage the doc then decided it was time to pay attention to me and ran over with a horrible sales pitch. I was thinking about coming in for a chiropractic exam based on Mike and Jeann before I talked to him!! To him my pain wasn't the concern, it was my stress level. Thats why I came for a massage which he interrupted! He also didn't seem very knowledgeable, just using big medical words trying to act the part, not realizing I am in the health industry and have a good understanding of the body. I was clearly just a dollar sign to him and was completely turned off. He is a salesman not a doctor. or chiropractic wellness coach like he claims. Bottom line: If Dimensional Family Wellness gets another doctor, keeps the amazing location, and awesome staff, I would sign up for life and bring my kids! The office was a little messy, but its a small space its clear they don't have enough room for everything they want to do.
