We were looking for someone who could do a non-religious ceremony with some aspects of our Latino traditions. He was great at researching the Lasso ceremony and finding a way to incorporate it with our own spin. His initial outreach was fun and informal. It really helped us talk about our relationship in a way that was genuine and brought out the important parts to add to the ceremony script. He was willing to meet us wherever worked best for us and he was willing to change the script multiple times to get it right. On the day of, we had a few mic problems, but Darren was able to work through it and even the guests in the back of our ceremony seating said they could hear him perfectly clear without the mic. We had many of our guests say that our ceremony was the perfect representation of our relationship and personalities. We truly have Darren to thank for that! Stoic Events will truly take time to understand you as a couple. I highly recommend working with them!

He let us know we could check out all the buildings there. We explored Clay school house first, they had the classroom set up like it was still in use. There were mannequins in there to look realistic. Super cool. I found my nana's name and picture from her year book. It was on the wall of the class room. Then we checked out the church, it's still in use. The fire house was cool, we got to take pics on the engine. The old house was beautiful inside and out! It's a really nice way to spend the day! They're open on weekends. Free parking.

The venue itself is incredible, but my favorite part was the staff & management team at the park who assisted us with almost everything for our big day. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a stress-free day. Helping with deliveries day-of, ideas for layout/planning, draft timelines, you name it! I am so happy we decided on Kingsburg Historical Park as our wedding venue. You will not be disappointed, and your guests will have a great time :) 10/10 would recommend!

We were told by whoever finally responded to the security system, that the staff member was "probably on the way because they weren't calling him back". After waiting over 20 minutes, I finally received a call from someone named Parm, who said my appointment was actually scheduled on March 22nd. When I tried to explain to him that I had canceled that appointment and rescheduled for today, he immediately cut me off and told me that I needed to listen to him now. My fiance overhead his tone of voice and immediately told him that he wasn't to speak to me in that manner. Bottom line, things happen for a reason. We were unable to tour the venue as scheduled, treated very unprofessionally by the staff, and therefore decided to look elsewhere for our wedding venue.

Plenty of parking and easy access from the 99 freeway. Also there's convenient nearby quick options like Subway, McDonalds, and Wendy's at the exit.
