Dear Governor Jerry Brown and Democratic Political Leaders, About two months later, I recently started working as a temporary preschool teacher for the same Head Start business I was a part of several years ago. The professional structure of the organization is exactly the same over a decade later: 99% Mexican or hispanic staff, 2 Black female teachers, ethnically diverse subs, management is Hispanic, white, one Asian and one Iranian. They still only speak Spanish to parents and each other and mainly teach in Spanish, at some schools they only teach in Spanish. Mr. Brown, this not right. Many U.S. citizens believe that this is not acceptable. I saw the family service workers who had the job that I wanted and they were all Mexican women, so obviously I did not even get a call because I'm a African American woman. That is all that separates me from them. So bilingual required to me means, "Blacks need not apply or Non-Hispanic need not apply for this job" and that is illegal. I wrote to President Barack Obama about this exact problem along with harassment from Hispanic people, during his first term and then he passed the Dreamers Act, so I did not feel supported by the president regarding my concerns. President Barack Obama carried a lot of actions and made decisions that really helped American people, but in this particular circumstance, I would have preferred more support from the President. I respect and admire Democratic Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi. She along with other Democratic leaders say that they will not agree to fund a border wall. Whether the wall is funded or not, I as well others believe that the Government Shut down should end right away, so that U.S. federal employees can be financially compensated for their work, an agreement needs to be reached that includes measures to create a safer more secure country. I as well as other U.S. citizens would like a U.S. where people from other countries are not permitted to enter the country, especially illegally, manipulate the system, and try to dominate the United States. I would really like for you and other democrats to advocate for Black women and Black people specifically and those who are rejected and mistreated in the United States, specifically U.S. citizens. Every group receives direct advocacy from the U.S. government except Black people. Thank you for your time and attention. Please reply and please help to fix these problems with racism and help to create laws that even the playing field for all American citizens in the job market, educationally, in the housing market, regarding medical care, regarding the honoring of our Civil and Constitutional rights by law enforcement, the judicial system and all U.S. citizens etc, Thank you for doing what is right. I have been to the White House and it's a beautiful building and I love the historic value. Most particular the exhibits on JFK and Abraham Lincoln. Our forefathers would roll over in their graves with the way the government is handling certain issues today. For instance, Mark Adams today is a state appointed California Receiver. Taking advantage of his state appointed powers and the California Courts, "Mark Adams from California Receivership Group" has found an unethical loophole as he uses the "policing for profit" exaggerated code enforcement tactics of "Silver and Wright Law Firm" from Orange County to steal private property from California citizens for profit! Hopefully this nonneutral receiver "Mark Adams" and the unethical practices of "Silver & Wright Law Firm" will be spotlighted and new laws created in California's judicial system soon to prevent these lawyers scams from ever happening again. Justice will not be fully served until both "Mark Adams" and "Matt Silver" are debarred indefinitly and out of business. Visiting the White House on February 6 with my wife was a wonderful and memorable experience, even though we did not go inside. Standing outside such an important and historic building was still very powerful and inspiring. The area around the White House is clean, well maintained, and full of energy from visitors around the world. We enjoyed walking around, taking photos, and learning about the history through nearby signs and displays. The security presence made us feel safe, and everything was organized and professional. Seeing the White House in person gave us a deeper appreciation for American history and leadership. My wife and I spent time enjoying the atmosphere, watching other visitors, and capturing special moments together. It was a peaceful and meaningful visit, especially in the evening when the lights made the building look even more beautiful. Even without going inside, the experience was worth it. If you are visiting Washington, D.C., I highly recommend stopping by the White House. It is a must-see landmark and a great place to make lasting memories read more

The White House is one of the most iconic buildings in the world. You can get take great pictures of the White House from the North Lawn and South Lawn. Guards and Secret Service are everywhere. The White House is located in Washington DC. I'm not sure if there is a fee for the tour of the inside, but there is definitely no fee from standing outside and just observing this beautiful historical landmark. This is a great site for people who want to look at one of the most important buildings in the United States! Although I find it to be the main attraction, there are definitely many other things to do in the area. For example, The Washington Monument is a short walk. I was in the area on Saturday and decided to visit the White House to try my luck at a glimpse of someone in the presidential family, no such luck! :P I will give it five stars because it a beautiful building, and there is so much to do in the area. It is definitely a site to see and anybody who comes is in for a good time in the nation's capital! read more

It meant a great deal to me to make the journey from NJ to DC to visit the White House while President Obama was still in office. It's so much smaller in person than I remember as a child and also on TV. There are barricades in front to prevent you from getting too close and officers on hand to further enforce but they were friendly and pleasant. Be forewarned they many people and groups want their photo op so be patient and friendly! If you are fortunate, you can eavesdrop on area tour groups who provide great WH history while there. There's a cute park right across the street to rest and just people watch. If you aren't able to actually take a WH tour (you have to contact your local Senator's office) please be sure to visit the WH visitor's center located a few blocks away. I had a horrible experience while touring. As soon as I walked in there was a horrible stench. It smelled like baby powder and full diapers. To my disgust I found a giant orange man baby crying and wailing. It took both of us by surprise. He saw that I was in a vulnerable state and dropkicked me and told me I wasn't a true American. The secret service then tried to take me away and attempted to erase my memories. I picked up McDonald's leftovers I found laying around told them to fetch. That bought me a few minutes to run out. I now go to therapy at least 3 times a week. This was the most traumatic experience of my life, take it from me when I say, NEVER come here. read more

The site is intended for the president of the U.S. It is where he works and lives. 4. The site is made up of one building. 5. I visited the site on October 8th, 2016. 6. The White House deserves a 5 star rating because of its great self guided tours. The tour allows visitors to see the first floor of the white house where all the colored rooms and dining halls are. It is an amazing honor to visit the presidents house and I highly recommend visiting the white house. read more

I passed by the White House on July 3rd 2015. It was located in Washington, D.C. . The site's mission was suppose to be the office of the president of the United States. It was established in November 1st 1800. The visit was ok I wish I was aloud to go inside. The fee for entering the building is that public tour requests must be submitted through one's Member of Congress. People who submit are aloud to enter the White House. What makes up the the White House is the gates and the securities who are heavily guarded. It's a historic building. I give it a 4 because it's the oldest building in the national mall. D.C is out of touch with the people & is outdated. They allow huge tax cuts for the uber rich. They give amnesty to illegals. They do nothing to truly secure our borders. They try to police the world yet do nothing to police themselves. They allow gangs to exists. They fight against individual states that want to uphold federal laws of deportation. Now my taxes are being used to pay for a healthcare program I don't support. My taxes are used for wars & conflicts that we have nothing to do with. Gates, fences, and guards everywhere. You can't even see the damn thing. I walked around the area three times to confirm and yep, there was only a single place you could see any of the White House and it was only a sliver of the building. The vantage point was a 5x5 section of fenced in area that had about 40 people crammed in trying to take pictures. And on top of that, it's full of racists complaining about this ethnicity or that ethnicity or spouting some ridiculous conspiracy theory about protesters. Such a waste of time. read more

This is just a review for the exterior that we got to tour when I was visiting recently. The grounds around the building are amazing and beautiful. It's a simple monument with a stunning majestic setting. I love how grandeur it seems. We found out it's extremely difficult to get in for a tour, especially last minute. And the trash around the area was a little put off putting. But it is in the middle of a city and it can be expected. Just a gorgeous place to visit. After a lot of work bugging both my senators and congresswoman and for several months, we got a tour. After a super boring Capitol tour we almost bailed on this one. Glad we didn't! Once you get past all the security checks and men with huge guns, you actually get to walk around inside on your own, at your own pace. It's only a small part of the white house, but still, it was totally great, interesting, worth it! Last time I was here they told us to mind our steps because Joey was sleeping. I found it quite ironic because when I was there during the Trump administration, it was all hands on deck to see who could have a great time. I will have to come back to see what has changed in the last couple of years. The historic nature of the location is pretty dope, I mean it is our tax dollars so it should be for the people. I never thought I would be over here checking all this out but thanks to what I do I get to experience all this. This site is located in at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW. There is no fee to visit this site although you can only be behind the fence and not on the property. I think this site is mostly visited by tourist that want to take a picture in front of it. This is a historic building. I visited this site two weeks on a Wednesday ago during a tour. I gave it an OK rating because it was very crowded. read more
