She quickly read over my description of symptoms, diagnoses and supplements, while ! spoke about them. She sort of rudely cut me short asking "how can i best help you?" "I just spent 40 mins listening to your complaints" she commented at one point, as if that was wasting her precious time! Isn't elaborating on your health issues exactly the point of the intake during a first appointment?? Isn't that her job to find this out, during our limited one hour, $400 dollar consult? Ghandi came off like a machine, very fast (too much coffee!?), cold, seemed totally lacking empathy (arguably the most important quality in a doctor), and proceeded to overwhelm me with about a dozen handouts, (without adequately and clearly explaining them!) touting products/treatments/therapies for my health issues that ran into hundreds of dollars right off the bat, that naturally, they sell or provide in the office. It was only then that she ordered a comprehensive lab panel to be done at Quest. And I felt like the minute I told her I needed to be ''budget conscious, she she was became even more bitchy and dismissive, as if ok, 'this patient doesn't have deep pockets, and can't afford us, so buh-bye.' The whole visit seemed incredibly impersonal, and I left feeling wham- bam- thank- you ma'amed, overwhelmed, and not feeling at all confident about getting my health issues being helped by her anytime soon. Got the distinct impression this clinic is set up to make money for whomever owns it. Positioned just over the bridge from Palm Beach, it would seem only those "on the Island" could hope to afford the exorbitant fees, supplements and treatments they purvey. Are they getting to the root cause for any of their patients? I don't know, but you WILL spend A LOT of money from the get-go if you follow these doctors' seemingly impersonal, fomulaic one- size- fits -all advice. $800 for a doctor to merely order tests and then sell you their formulas seems like a rip off, no?
