They have many seating options from relaxing couches to dining tables and patio seating. Parking is a breeze. If you like wine, this is the place for you. They have EVERYTHING. I was truly overwhelmed. I could have spent hours in there just looking at the selection. They also have a nice array of whiskeys and the bourbon prices are very fair. The food at this locale is FANTASTIC. We tried a cheese plate which was a perfect starter while we perused the rest of the menu. I went with the tuna tartar and tostones as an entree and I was afraid it wasn't going to be enough food but it was the perfect portion. The tartar was delectable. I will be thinking about it for a long time. Everything was top notch at this place but I think our server, Rene, was the icing on the cake. His positive and welcoming energy set the tone for an incredible evening. He was so knowledgeable about the wines and the menu and he did truly felt like a friend. His recommendations did not stop at wine and food - he also gave us advice on places to visit while we are in the area. He's truly a gem! This is my first time in Aguadilla but I could see myself coming back for the sole purpose of visiting Set the Bar again. It's truly that good. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

We came here because of the good review and how close it was to our house. Note that this place…read morealso has rather peculiar hours. It only opens for dinner, and only sometimes? Check the open/closed sign outside. It's run by literally two people - the waitress and the bartender. They have a rather short menu and a drink special of the day. The bartender is open to making anything you want though, given that they have the ingredients. The service was good and they made an effort to let us split the check based on our orders. I ordered the Baja Fish Tacos for $7, since I had a good experience in San Juan ordering this dish. It was sizable and had three soft shell tacos, However, it was covered in red cabbage with not a lot of fish at all. Sure it was cheap, but it wasn't even worth $7. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of zero is because some of my dining companions really enjoyed the Shrimp Ceviche, so I would like to go back and try that. This is one of the cheaper places to go for dinner in RIncon, but honestly, I'd rather just get a sandwich or go to Surfer's Spot.

The name was a little misleading - did not seem like a typical wine bar to me but a fun, islandy martini bar. Bartender was great - he offered "insurance" on all of his concoctions - if you didn't like it, he would drink it! ha, ha. Had a great indoor open air set-up with a neat jacuzzi pool/lounge area and a good band one night. quiet, great art, fun atmosphere and really good pizza. Tough parking lot - if you find a spot on the street before or after this place take it!

It's a must do for me being that I can't find that type here in Orlando I mean I probably could but nothings going be like having it at home and by the beach. My sister usually gets Octopus salad, i am not a fan of seafood and I know that's weird coming from someone that lived on an island but I don't like seafood and plus I'm allergic to shell fish so it gets me away with it. My nieces love having the piña colada as we have a beer they do have some really good cordon bleu like nuggets I guess you can call them they're delicious I recommend them. The only thing that makes me sad is that my empanada use to come with a sorta dough braid on the side and now it doesn't. I use to eat the outside first and leave that for last because for me it was the best part. They do have a menu you can choose and some seats but nothing fancy vary casual place with some great music playing and you can watch tv there too. Some come down to watch the boxing games. Besides food, you can also go to watch people dance at night or sometimes have little concerts. Afterwards you can just cross the street and walk on the beach or just sit listening to ocean as it takes you're problems away. I miss this part because in Florida a good beach is 2 hours away while here it's 10 min or less. One more thing. There are several other kiosks like julios there but julios is the last one. Some of the kiosks have different things than others so shop around is my tip and find out which oh like best.
